He popped down the barrels again, pulling the only bullet out. The bullet and gunpowder jacket it sat in were both relatively large. The entire thing was as big as Duo's hand, stopping at the heel of his palm and the tips of his fingers. It was definitely customized. No normal gun had that kind of slugs. Why one bullet though?
"Take a look for yourself. I've had these guns ever since I first walked out of the tank."
The gun it had come in looked really heavy. The weight and size looked to be completely made for him. It had come from the weapon he used with his left hand, so the name Scream was italicized in gold print on the black handle. The other one Duorzum was Howl. Both looked like they've seen their share of combat.
What madman made weapons like this?

Leon took the gun in his hand and hefted it. It was much bigger then his hand, but the weight was lost to him. His hands had hefted all sorts of weapons, so he adjusted to the weight of the firearm quickly. He popped the magazine open and pulled out the single bullet. Turning the gun over and looking at the chamber itself, Leon noted the turn pin and the carrage for the bullets. Looking from the gun to the bullet, Leon nodded his head. "Looks like a fifty calibur round. AP more then likely. You should use hollow point, good to fast kills and deep penetration." Leon said, sliding the bullet back into the chamber and then clapping the mag back into the gun.
He twirled the gun in his hand and handed the handle and trigger to Duo, who hopefully took it. If he did, Leon got up and walked to his side bags on his bike. Reaching into one of the back bags, Leon pulled out a large handgun, a magnum pistol that he had designed himself. A slide clip came out of the bag with the gun, which Leon loaded into the reciever. Leon cocked the gun, letting the arm click back into place and turned the safty off. "This here's one of my guns. AP, high velocity, hollow point rounds, twelve of them, full lead jackets and thermal rings, red dot with top slide rail for optics. Interchangable firing pin and loader, with heavy duty hammer and pin. Weighs about three pounds with the clip in it and can fire sixty rounds a minute. One of my earlier designs, but one of the more elogant ones, if I do say so myself." Leon said, clicking the safty back on. The handle was crafted of mostly black metal with a splash of silver polish, a carved wooden grip with hardened steel screws holding them to the gun. The breach was carved in fine detail, the workings of vines and roots inlaid in deep crimson metal. The entire gun was mostly black, the top slide as well, and the underslung red-dot sat a little before the trigger cage.
"Fire it if you'd like, I've got plenty of ammo on me." Leon said, placing the gun down on the floor. He walked back to his spot and kicked a rock out of the way. It rolled and bounced, then clattered to the floor several feet away. He plopped down and reclined again against the sloped rock, letting another sigh escape his lips. He was tired and the fire was slowly ebbing away at his concousness. But, he had to remain awake, even if it ment drinking, which, strangely, caused him to become wider awake and more aware of the things around him. Oh well... just another day.

Duo grabbed his gun, then grabbed Leon's gun. Hm, it was lighter than his own beasts. He unloaded the safety and popped a shot with Leon's gun, breaking the rock that the other male tossed. Using his tail, he wrapped six rocks, flinging them up toward the wall. Duorzum took very quick aim, and fired with his own monstrosity.
Six bullet holes were in the wall, and six rocks were turned to rubble. That one bullet he had in the barrel chamber had multiplied to fit all the barrels. The bullet holes has mysteriously shrieked a wail of terror upon impact....
"You need to pay for bullets. I do not. Did you not notice the wear and tear on that single bullet? It had been magically endowed to keep copying itself every time the trigger is squeezed."
He pointed at the barrels, "Three minutes of a total of six hundred bullets on auto-fire, then it overheats. Anymore, and the barrels will melt. I am in need of a complete weapon overhaul though."
Now that he took a proper look at his guns, they were worse for wear. The auto-fire option on them was wearing them down extremely quickly. Soon the guns would fall apart in the middle of a fight. That would definitely get him stuck between a rock and a hard place. The demon-like experiment tossed Leon his gun back.

Leon caugh the gun as it came to him, clicking the safty back on. Duo did have some impressive weapons, the gun multiplying the number of bullets in the magazine. An interesting feat, Leon would have to replicate it somehow. When he got back to the Ragnarok, he would do some intense research on the matter. The night had progressed quickly, a faint glow reaching over the cliffs and trees. Leon smiled and nodded, standing up and checking his watch. "0630 hours... Not bad. I've got an idea. You need a weapon's overhaul and I've got the equipment to do so. Tell you what. You share the schematics for those guns and I'll let you do whatever it is you want with your guns. My work space will be open to you and you alone, unless you want someone to be there." Leon said. It was a fairly straight ahead deal, both parties prospering from the deal.
Leon turned and gathered the things he had set out, putting them away into the different side bags on his motercycle. "If you're interested in my deal, then follow me when you will. I'll be moving along to my ship. I've need to gather a few things there anyway." Leon said, walking the bike to the mouth of the cave. He hopped on and pulled his jacket on. He brought the bike to life and revved the engine. "Peace." Leon said, before gunning the engine and riding off into the jungle.
It took Leon the better part of an hour to get to the area where he had parked the Ragnarok. It was currently in stealth mode, so no one could rightly see it. Not even the distortion of the light could be seen, just a clear patch of open area. Rolling into the clearing, Leon pressed a small button on a key chain in his pocket. A flare of color popped up several feet before Leon and a ramp decended down, allowing Leon entrance to the ship. Leon rolled up the ramp and parked his motercycle in its spot in the storage area. Now off his bike, Leon walked on, riding up the gravity lift to the cock pit. Taking his seat in the pilot's chair, Leon flipped several switches and punched in several commands on the keyboard infront of him.
Outside of the ship, it stealth field vanished slowly, revealing the supersized star ship for what it truly was. Leon ignited the engines and brought the ship into a low hover. Slowly, he rose up into the air, gaining altitude rather quickly. Soon, he sat up in the dawning sky, the sunlight rolling into the cockpit. Leon leaned back and typed in a few commands on the keyboard. He wanted an indepth scan of the area, so he launched several spy drones to gather intel around the area. He wanted to know if that creature was around still and what was going on around him. Couldn't hurt to be too careful.

Many shrieks filled the air as the sky was peppered with flying things. They condensed, forming a huge swarm. They were approaching Leon's ship at a rather disturbing pace....
THUD!
One of them already landed on top of the cockpit, mouth first. It had a cone-shaped body, with rounded rows of sharp teeth, many beady eyes, and multiple wings. It had a whip-like tail that was swinging furiously as it was tried to bite through the cockpit shield. It also lacked legs. It was relatively tiny, about the same size as the back of Leon's hand. More started sticking onto the shield, trying to bite their way in.
Soon they started covering the shield, obscuring the view from all sides. There were so many of them, all shrieking through each bite attempt. More were coming!
What were these things?!

Leon sighed and punched a button on the command consol in-front of him. A thermo-electric sheald projected around the ship. The creatures that were already on this ship were incinerated almost instantly, atomized by the increadible heat and power of the shields. Leon pressed another button on the console that fired off several "missiles" which held explosives that created a bright flare. A second layer of sheilding rolled over the cockpit's outer shell.
The missiles exploded in the air, sending the current of creatures off in a wild tanget. Hitting the cloaking device again, the Ragnarok and the spy drones slipped into the void of stealth. Hitting the short range jump jets, Leon warped the ship several thousand meters away, higher then before. Leon typed in several different commands, activating the various automated defense systems. Then, he activated the engine purge, clearing the engines of debris and anything else in them. Lastly, he ran a security sweep of the entire ship as well as the exterior. Nothing, all except for him.
Zooming in on one of the spy drones that waited silently and unnoticable in the general area he had just been, Leon watched as a small cloud of the things that attacked his ship just a few seconds earlier roll and boil. Leon typed a command into the computer to have the spy drone to a thermal and electrical scan of the creature. A quick scan went out from the small camera on the spy drone which sent the captured information to Leon. Hopefully, it would tell him something about where and what these things were. The thing's skeletal structure, tissue density, and nerve construction were rather bizarre. It also had traces of chemicals only found in laboratories. The winged suckers were not natural on Gaia. Someone had made them. More of the things were buzzing around below, trying to find the ship. Leon's attacks had hardly dented the swarm. There was still a thick cloud of them.
Duorzum took note of the little buggers above, and remained in the cave. Since they did not have noses, they could not sniff him out. They had relied mostly on sound and vibrations in the air. If he kept quiet, they would not hear him. Duo was vulnerable to their attacks since he did not have a ship to hide in. He liked his blood where it was!

Leon watched the swarm spiril and moved in a tight knot. He noted how the swarm moved, matching it with the information that he recieved from the biological scans. Nodding his head, Leon typed in several commands. Pods fired from the rear ports of the Ragnarok, each carrying several weapons that Leon had been meaning to impliment. The pods, carried along by anti-grav repulsers, moved to a general area around the swarm. The swarm, picking up the sounds of the pods, began to move and flow towards them.
The pods took up position around the swarm as it boiled and swelled. Just before the swarm reached several of the pods, the doors of the pods opened up and unleashed a torrent of death. Accelerated gamma particles rained down on the swarm, covering the entirety of the cloud in its deadly rain. As Leon had predicted, an instantanious effect went up, causing the creatures to wither and burn, turning to ash, which subsiquentially broke down to very fine particles in an extreamly short amount of time. Nodding his approval, Leon activated several of the pods to go thermal, burning the particles so intensly that the atomized. The remains of the pods that detonated atomized as well, while the remaining pods returned to the Ragnarok. They docked quickly and loaded into their respective storage compartments.
Knowing that someone would be watching, Leon engaged the short-range jump jets and moved to another location, this time nearer to the cave where Duo was hiding. Hopefully, Duo noticed that the swarm was taken care of and would allow Leon to get him aboard the ship, just so that they could get away from that immediate area at the least.

Duorzum was quick to notice this. The absence of shrieking and the smell of burned flesh gave that away. He immediately flew out of the cave, following the smell of burning fuel to find Leon's ship. He had to get in quickly though. Another swarm was approaching, this one a more mutated version of the bloodsucking shriekers before. They were faster, and had a nasty concussive sound blast attack that could puncture metal walls with huge holes.
Duo figured that it was time to leave. An entire swarm of them could take out naval fleets in only a few minutes. They didn't even need to bite the ship itself to do damage.
"Time to leave!"

oOc: I'm not entirely sure with your last post, my take on it is that Duo had gotten into Leon's ship and is telling him to go. If that's the case then it's cool with me. If he's looking for Leon's ship, thats still cool. Tell me if what I write needs to be modified in any way to continue on with the RP. : oOcLeon nodded his head at the mention of getting away from that location. With a press of the button, Leon engaged the jump-jets again and boosted them away from the location, leaving only a deadly preasent for the incoming swarm. A tactical nuke, obvious in it's name. Used for the tactical erradication of unwanted parties. Leon rested his head against his index finger and his thumb, watching the events of the weapon take place.
An orange glow, followed by the thunderous crash of the concussion of the explosion, followed quickly afterward by the destructive force of the wave and shear heat. Incineration caught up to the coming swarm, catching them in mid flight. Atomization was instant, the destruction of the ground below was secondary. Nothing was left, the unholy death from the weapon apparent. Not unlike the crash of the Weapon only several years before, the ground was blackened and baked, a dent in the ground.
Leon only shrugged, non-radioactive isotopes would fall on the area, which, ironically, would stimulate the growth of the ground beneath the detonation point. With Duo aboard to the ship, and the cliffs stopping the blast from reaching far out, Leon was satisfied with the results of the last few moments. But, a thought kept coming to him. Where were these creatures coming from? Leon would have to ask Duo about it, but for now, Leon wanted to remain at an impass, sitting much higher above the ground, in the outer reaches of the atmosphere. Gravity played little in the cabin, near weightlessness hung around them. "So... how about that gun overhaul?" Leon said, turning around to look at Duo.

He watched the creatures get completely vaporized by a mini-nuke. Hm... Alpha had a few of those before he was completely melted from the "ribcage" down. Too bad he didn't have more. All of them were used on the most heavily entrenched lab bases. He was surprised that this fellow knew how to make such a technology.
Duorzum stared at the outer atmosphere that was around them. Well, this was a big leap for him. Almost touching space. He would definitely remember this. He snapped out of his amazed stupor when Leon asked about the weapon overhaul.
He shook his head, "I did not make these, nor do I have the plans for them. I was only given these as a means for ranged combat." (( It's cool. I like what you wrote. ))

Leon shrugged at the response. "Whatever you'd like. If you'd prefer to get new ones, then by all means. You have the facilities here aboard my ship to make any kind of gun you want. I dabble in the exparamentation of magics, so I'm fairly certain that I can replicate the enchantment on your guns." Leon said, reclining in his chair. Leon knew his stuff, and when he said he could replicate the effects of the guns, he ment it.
Getting up, Leon walked out of the cockpit after riding down the gravity lift. He walked, not paying attention to if Duo was following him or not. He walked down one of the many hall-ways in the ship to the gun locker. The room where Leon kept his guns was also a workshop, different machineing tools and the like stood adject to the double doors to the locker itself. A bio-scanner stood between the doors and the rest of the room, cutting off access to the guns themselves without someone recognized by the AI that ran about Leon's ship.
Leon walked through the bio-scanner, which dinged green and allowed him entrance to the locker. He took several of his favorite guns and brought them out. He took empy mags and a single bullet for each of them as well. Going back to his brief handling of Duo's gun, Leon recalled the different feel of the enchantments put into the guns themselves. Every enchantment was sensible to those who knew quite a bit about magic, so it was nothing new. Thinking about it, Leon began to snap different spells into the air before him, getting a feel of getting closer to the spell.
Weaving several different spells together, Leon was able to finally replicate the enchantment. "Nothing to it..." Leon said in a low tone, looking at his guns. He threw the different enchantments onto each of the guns and nodded his head, turing and firing seveal of the guns at a target on the wall. Once each bullet was fired, Leon popped the mags out to see if the bullet had replicated itself. Sure enough, it had. Now he could help Duo with his guns.

He did follow Leon. He was also careful about not touching anything. First rule of entering a ship: never touch anything without knowing the controls. It might be the self-destruct button or sequence. Duorzum was pleased to find that Leon was also able to enchant weapons. The violet stare was fixed on how his new friend was enchanting the weapon. Hm... perhaps he could show HQ how to do that.
"To be truthful, I don't have a preference on gun models. I can use any type of gun."
He could, and he has in the past. The guilt was gnawing at him that he did use a certain weapon in the past....

Leon shrugged again. "Take your pick then." Leon said, waving his hand at the wall of guns. Leon snapped his fingers and a small floating robot dropped from the ceiling. It hovered around Duo quickly, taking images and biological scans through a beam of almost invisible electrons. Once the scans were done, a screen on the wall popped to life. "Scan completed, user identified. Access granted." A computerized voice said through the speekers in the room.
"The security system will allow you though now. Go ahead and route around in there until you find something you like. If there's anything you want in particular, I've got more modles in the storage compartments of the ship. I've even got others somewhere else." Leon said, turning and walking to one of the work benches. "Tell me when you've found the ones you like. I'll enchant them and you can take whatever kind of holsters you'd like for 'em." Leon said, sitting down at the bench and pulling out several tools. It was an old piece of work, but Leon wanted to at least get back to what he was doing before. Why be bored if one didn't have to? Duo didn't know too much about guns, to be truthful. Whenever he held one, it felt like he knew everything about it just by holding it. Hidden talent? Natural feeling? Part of the genetic codes? He'd never truly know. After the scans were complete, he took Leon's offer and looked at the different gun models in the ship. He was impressed with what he saw.
Duorzum continued looking, each model having a promising outlook to them. The problem was he wasn't picky, and he could use them with equal efficiency.
"All of these look promising...."
