Elstan had never been to this place before. It was different to Midgar, by far. She snuck out of HQ at around five am just to get some thoughts collected. It was a regular hustle and bustle town, people laughing and talking with friends and neighbours. It was a heart-warming scene to see so many people going about their lives, and not knowing a member of the SOLDIER Assassin Division was amongst them. Elstan almost felt... Normal to say the least.
She decided it was the perfect time to buy a coffee and something to eat. Before she decided to order however, she heard a girl crying. Her mother was leading her away from the cafe, but the girl had left her stuffed red lion behind. Elstan picked it up and walked up to the girl and her mother. "Excuse me ma'am, but your little girl left her toy." Elstan smiled. The woman looked at her. "I wondered why she was letting out all that dreadful noise." The woman said. "What do you say to the lady, Rosanna?" The girl's mother asked. "Thank you Miss." The girl said, and she immediately stopped crying. Elstan said goodbye and went back to her table.
She just ordered a cappuccino and a croissant. Elstan didn't want a cooked breakfast, she only ate one of those if she was depressed. She didn't know if any of her friends were close by, but she didn't want them to know she was here, and if they found her... Well she wouldn't mind.
After finishing she paid her bill and left. She walked around the town, looking at all the various items on display. She finally found a book store-cum-library. Elstan opened the door, and the little bell tinged. The smell of the book hit her instantly. It was so heavenly. There was one section dedicated to romantic novels and Romeo & Juliette dominated it. She went through that section, that is until she felt her phone vibrate in her coat pocket.
