Are we having fun yet, hm?
OOC: This thread marks the official re-starting point of Yazoo's plot. All prior threads with him will be considered non-canon to his new plot. If you want to re-RP any of his past plots, please PM me and we can start the thread. There were only two prevailing thoughts in Yazoo's mind as the last scraps of consciousness filtered back into his brain: Where am I? and What happened?. They were valid questions, yes, for one would only expect them from a person who had just woken up far away from where he last remembered himself. But, the trouble was, where had he been last? Yazoo couldn't quite remember. In fact, his last memory was that of an explosion, then darkness; all-consuming darkness that welcomed the Remnant into its embrace and ended the pain of that explosion. But the darkness wasn't there anymore. Yes, it was dark at the moment, but it was not the darkness from before. The current dark was that of laying face-down on the ground. "Nugh..." Yazoo let out a small grunt as he rolled himself over onto his back. The action brought on a spike of pain from an overly sore body, though he stomped it down and forced himself to heave himself into a sitting position. Cat-like green eyes scanned his surroundings intently, and mentally answered his first question. He was near the Forgotten Capital, as one could tell from the bone-white trees thrusting their leafless fingers into the night sky overhead. But this gave birth to a new question: how did he get here? Yazoo distinctly remembered the explosion did not take place here. Well, whatever. At least he knew where he was, and knew that there was a good chance of finding his Brothers here. Giving another grunt of effort, Yazoo got to his feet, stumbling a bit when his legs did not quite support him properly. "Hello?" He called into the forest before him, hoping that there was perhaps another person here, though it was unlikely. "Is anybody here? Kadaj? Loz?" No answer. Well, it wasn't as if he expected anything less. Yazoo shook his head, making his stunning silver hair stir on his shoulders. "I might as well go back to the base, anyway," he mused to himself, "and see if the Materia is still there. I could most definitely use a Cura to alleviate this annoying stiffness in my muscles." The Remnant rolled his shoulders, and arched his back to pop it. With that, he set off in the direction of the old base at a slow, stiff pace.

Someone was running between the trees. It was a shadow. As quickly as it had appeared it had gone. The young Assassin was now tailing the silver haired man from the trees. She looked at him. Wondering what to make of him. She sensed Sephiroth in him. 'There's something you don't sense everyday.' She thought. She got ahead of him and jumped out of the tree. "So, the trio of misfits has returned." She smirked. Her face was covered, but her cat-like eyes were showing. "What are you doing here?" Thee woman asked. Weapons of various makes were strapped to her, but her sword, however, was strapped to her right hip, indicating she was left handed. She waited for the man to speak.

Yazoo continued to shuffle along at his fairly slow pace, though it gradually began to speed up as the simple motion worked the stiffness from his muscles. It was a bit odd, to say the least, to see the Remnant as anything but graceful. But, there he was, shuffling along like an old man as he attempted to regain his former grace. How royally humiliating. At least there was nobody around to see him in this embarrassing state. He'd be back to his former grace in no time. Hold on just a moment... Yazoo paused where he stood, every sense on alert. Something was off. Was it... something in the trees? Cat-like eyes darted in that direction, but nothing seemed out of place. But, rather than reassuring him that nothing was there, it only added to a slight, gnawing paranoia that he was being watched. I'm sure it's nothing. He told himself, snorting and shaking his head a bit. But, just as he began to continue walking, motion in his peripheral vision dragged his gaze back to the trees. It was, again, probably nothing more than a moving shadow, but it did not reassure the silver haired Remnant in the slightest. Yazoo let out a sigh, then continued decisively on his way, choosing to ignore whatever it had been for the time being. But, that's precisely when the woman appeared. She reminded Yazoo eerily of himself, especially with their matching eyes. Another child of Mother? Wondrous! A smirk tugged at the corners of his pale mouth as he gave the woman a once-over. She was armed to the teeth, it seemed, but none of the said weapons were pointed at him just yet. "Misfits?" He echoed with a chuckle. "You wound me, dear." With hands placed on his hips, Yazoo stooped slightly forward as to get a closer look at the woman. Although, with her face covered, there wasn't much to see. "That's funny, I could ask you the same question. But, if you insist, I'm simply here to re-visit our old base. Perhaps my Brothers will be there. Or... perhaps not." He shrugged. "But it's worth a shot. But how about you, mistress? What are you doing here?"

Elstan smiled. "I'm here to visit Loz." She said. She looked at the Remnant, similar to her brother. "You don't possess any of JENOVA's specific gifts. A wing for example, as for me I'm an enemy of you so-called mother." She smiled and pulled down her scarf. "I maybe Sephiroth's sister, but that thing, JENOVA os not my mother. She's nothing but a insect on my patio that needs to be squashed." Elstan said and walked off.
