Night lie over the Forgotten Capital like a shadowy blanket, its darkness unbroken save for the thin sliver of moon hanging in the sky. The soft light eminated by the odd trees provided the little illumination one needed to see. Well, it was all Yazoo needed, at least.
The silver haired Remnant lie against the trunk of a nearby tree, green eyes locked on a book. He'd been meaning to sit back, relax, and read a book for a long while, but a Remnant's work was never done. He was in the middle of Loveless, whick had piqued his intrest for a long time. He had faint memories belonging to Sephiroth of a man who had always been reading and quoting that very book. The man's name was one he could not recall, though. Yazoo now understood why Sehpiroth's old friend was so intrigued, for Loveless was indeed beautifully written. If Midgar hadn't been destroyed, he'd have gone and seen the play.
As he flipped onto the next page, a red haze flitted across his vision. Yazoo swore loudly as the mutations began to take hold again. Once more, he became that hideous beast in which he tried and failed to keep hidden. With a sigh that revealed sharpened teeth, he tucked the book into his jacket and got to his feet.
Enough was enough. He could not put up with this any longer. There had to be a way to control this, right? Well, he was going to find it, by whatever means nessecary.

Words were being spoken.
Disembodied echoes were being carried through the space given, and the voices sounded familiar. It sounded like a part of a conversation. One of them was Duorzum, that was certain. His voice was unmistakable. There were two more. The discussion sounded serious.
Duo seemed very uneasy, "It is best if we keep him there. Check in every now and then to make sure no zealot attempts to remove the blade. It was hell putting him there, and it would be hell doing it again."
Project Z was confused, "We can't move him?"
"Not even an inch."
Project C grunted his disapproval, "I agree with the demon here. We can't move him. We can't dispose him in the Planet either."
More confusion, "Why not?"
"He'll poison it. That was his goal from day one. Take the entire thing under his control."
A sigh, "Damn. He means business, even when pinned to a tree."
This went on.

((I'm gonna assume that they're in the Forgotten Capital. Correct me if I'm wrong.))
A single silver eyebrow arched at the sound of conversation nearby. For an instant, his clawed hand lingered over where Velvet Nightmare was holstered, but dropped to his side as he recognized three familiar voices. So they were here? He didn't know exactly what to feel. Sure, he may be thankful that his old friend from the lab was alive and well, but he wasn't so sure if Duorzum gotten his rage under control yet. As for Projects C and Z, he assumed they were hiding out somewhere.
"Mutated does not mean deaf, Duorzum. Just to let you know." He called, amusement slightly coloring his voice. I guess my peace and quiet will have to wait He added inwardly, folding his arms. "I suppouse you won't mind telling me what you're doing here? I assumed that it was quite well known that Kadaj and his gang lived here."

All three of them tore their attention away from each other and at Yazoo. The two undead copy attempts waved hello. Duorzum nodded his hello instead. They had a discussion about something, but it was lost when Yazoo arrived. Duo spoke up first, "Hello Yazoo. We were discussing about how to get rid of a certain problem. I apologize if we were disturbing you."
He did not ask about the mutations. Both projects didn't bother asking either. They kept silent the entire time. Duo was going to speak for them, apparently. He had no idea who Kadaj and his gang were. He wasn't above ground at the time. (( Yeah they're there. ))

"No, you were not disturbing me. Reading gets a bit boring after..." Yazoo paused, flipping open his cell phone to check the time, "two hours." With a dry chuckle, he turned his gaze back to Duorzum and Projects C and Z, waving back at them. "So what is this "problem" you're dealing with? I assume it is not Teviel. Seems to be too much of a "been there, fought that" type of situation, no?" It was not completely insane to assume that Duorzum was no longer afraid of the dragonoid beast. Annoyed would be a better word, in Yazoo's opinion.
"Perhaps I could be of assistance. I've nothing better to do, anyway."

Duorzum fell silent at Yazoo's request. Projects C and Z also fell silent at that. Project C finally spoke up, "We had beaten and kept a long time nemesis pinned to a tree with his own weapon. Now we're trying to figure out what to do with him."
Project C folded his arms across his torso, looking uneasy. The demon next to him also seemed a little on edge. Project Z wasn't about to speak up again anytime soon. Why did they go silent before?
"He's still not dead. We thought that his own weapon would kill him. Apparently not."

A single silver eyebrow arched once more as the others fell silent. Obviously, there was more to this story that they were admitting. Yazoo shrugged, deciding it was best not to push the matter, if it was so important. If it ended up affecting him, then he'd concern himself with whatever it was.
"Judging by your uneasy silence, I can tell this does not concern me." He mused, flexing his single bony wing. "I guess I will leave you to your own matters."

Gogon was watching all of this from behind a wall he had left boco at the stables and was traveling without a mount. He had come to the forgotten captil to search for treasure.he then had a plan thatre would probally regret later. He mimicked the voice of the one called douzoarm. [glow=red,2,300]" such a confusing world this is, you cannot be sure what is real and what is not" [/glow]

The Project pair stared at each other, then motioned for Yazoo to follow. They took off into the forest, Duorzum just a few steps behind them. The trio definitely wanted Yazoo to see this. They eventually stopped where the trees started to die. The withered, gnarled branches stretched in every which way, devoid of any green. The grass had also died off, replaced by some kind of blight. A single tree, drooping like a willow, stood tall in the middle of the rotting area. It had bunches of skulls sitting on the ends of the branches, like hanging grapes from a vine. Each one had a green flame burning in each of the eye sockets.
At the base of the tree, was somebody pinned to it by a dual-headed scythe. One blade stuck in, while the other pointed outward. Bits of rotted wings were everywhere, many having decaying feathers stuck to them. They had come from the guy pinned to the skull tree. Short silver hair cropped his head, although long enough to hide his face.
"We are here... to keep HIM there."

gogon realized they hadnt heard him and instead of leaving well enough alone he mimicked the voice of dourzaom once more , "be wary of your surroundings as isee that you have ignored me... it is a mistake i shall overlook for now." gogon was 50% sure of what he was doing. the other half was telling him he was an idiot. gogon drew his dagger slowly, as he expected he would need it soon
