This surprised him, and it showed. She did not flee from him. She wasn't screaming in terror. She wasn't even trying to shed blood. He responded when she asked him how he knew the creature, "I was knocked out of the sky by him."

When she touched his face again, he lowered his violet stare to look at the ground, away from her eyes. What was he? That was her next question. What to tell her? Demon? Fiend? Experiment gone awry? Monstrosity? Here went nothing.

"Experiment. Unfortunately."

When she touched his face, his body heat would probably make her recoil. Since his natural body temperature is a whopping one-hundred-twenty (120) degrees, he wondered who would ever touch him without recoiling, or punching him. Seemed nowadays that's all he'd ever get.

"Knocked out of the sky...?" she repeated, looking at him then his body, no wonder why he was in a bad state back then, the thing was meant to be quite large and powerful, that wasn't good. She still couldn't get over the fact that ShinRa sent her here alone, they must've been crazy!
She tilt her head to the side as he averted his gaze, what was wrong with him? As much as she tried to get him to look at her, it didn't work. She then gasped silently as he said about being an experiment, it was then she felt his body get warmer, she soon moved her hand away, feeling that she was making him uncomfortable.

"Sorry if I'm making you uncomfortable... I've just never seen anyone like you," she smiled lightly, she meant that in a good way, but he probably didn't like being seen as a monster, she'd be sure not to treat him like one.

It was then she realised that she hadn't even told him her name, she felt slightly embarrassed by this. "Uh! I'm so sorry, I almost forgot to tell you my name, my name's Kyrie... Kyrie Fallen, a few people seem to call me Heaven though."

She rubbed her head, chuckling nervously before turning her back on him, she felt kinda stupid right there and then, obviously she was a typical awkward woman. "So, what are you going to do about this creature? I was sent here to destroy it, I don't know about your business with it though," she said, looking at the sky.

His gaze shot back up to lock on Kyrie when she complimented him. Compliment? That was a first. He never got compliments of that calibur before. It felt... nice. Perhaps he could loosen up slightly around this woman. She certainly wasn't a scientist.

When she introduced herself, he gave her his name in return, "Duorzum. Duo for short. It means Two-Faced Devil, so don't be surprised if you hear that 'title' from someone."

When she asked him what he was going to do with the creature, he gave her a blank stare. How else was he knocked out of the sky? There were very low chances of aerial collisions that just happened to occur. He answered her anyway, "Kill him. He killed one of my brothers-in-arms, and incapacitated another. My bullets don't do anything against the creature's scales."
