Elstan looked down into the Crater. There was some unfinished business, thing that needed to be taken care of. Since that incident two years ago, Elstan had been plauged by questions. Today was about finding answers after these long years. However, she knew that evil lurked withing this place. The SOLDIER 1st class's, eyebrows were furrowed in determination, her eyes showing no emotion. The silver haired woman began to climb down into the pits of the Crater, knowing that she may never come out again.
As she walked through the Crater, Elstan felt something. It felt like that monster, the monster who had cursed her with this power. She didn't have time to stop, though she felt another unfriendly prescence. All at once a lion looking beast attacked her. Drawing her sword, Elstan faced her oppenent. The creature ran towards her, but Elstan was swift and in one blow of her blade the monster was vanquished.
Elstan cam across and all to familiar place. Elstan knelt down and summoned the demon, the demon was not too pleased at being awakened but nonetheless stayed calm. "What do you want SOLDIER 1st Class Elstan Shadow?" he asked, his voice deep and frightening. Elstan looked at him, no emotion in her feline eyes. "I want to know why you gave me this power and not to Sephiroth." she said. The demon chuckled, and looked at her. "Because you are my key to helping the rest to destroy JENOVA." he said simply. Elstan looked shocked, then again she did have a small feeling Sephiroth would abandon ShinRa one day. Elstan got up and nodded to the demon, who faded away as she left the small cave.
