FUTURE UPDATES (Hopes and Dreams~)

So I have some things I want to work on in the future, however at this time I don't have the maximum amount of time to work on them (I'll explain in a separate post.)

As noted by DM, the chatbox doesn't show up on the mobile version of the site... I want to work on that... even if it means I have to make a separate mobile-friendly page for the chatbox via something else. I haven't figure out how to go about it just yet, and it might take a while to get there.

As I've said previously I want to work on a new default skin. However I'm currently re-adapting to GIMP because I lost Photoshop when I switched over to Ubuntu. They're very different. Curse my lack of forethought.

I also plan on restarting the RP Lessons section of the board sooner rather than later. Anyone who would like to be able to help with this is more than welcome to, as I only have so much time to dedicate to making video/written lessons


Now that we're slowly but surely getting more active people, I'm prioritizing advertisement and building up on my contests that I want to do.

My current project is that I'm building a splash page for FD... for some curb appeal. This is where my adaptation to GIMP comes in. So far everything is starting to look good and hopefully before the end of the month there will be a preview for everyone to see!!!

My OTHER project right now is beefing up the official Facebook page. While I haven't actively been working on it, it's one of the things I want to work on a bit next week.

If there's ANYTHING people would like to see done, whether visually to the forum, or something else please FEEL FREE to PM me. I'll add it to the list and see what I can do.

Why'd you go to Ubuntu? My laptop has windows and my desktop has Ubuntu, barely use my desktop though because of recording and stuff, but can't wait to see the updates!

My laptop was having severe issues running Windows 7. I'm talking like it would take 30+ minutes to boot up, and multiple hard drive and virus issues over the last six months. I wiped it twice and reinstalled 7 before deciding to switch operating systems... and so far, my computer can run Ubuntu a LOT smoother than it did Windows. I'm going to install Windows on my desktop since I intend that to be my writing/music computer once I get it fixed.

Ahh I see. Having glary utilities, malwarebytes anti malware, and comodo firewall is best to use. I just use mbam and glary. Takes 20 seconds for my old laptop to boot oj win7 ultimate. Can't use the firewall because it uses up the rest of the resources of ram when trying to record it freezes up. So I try to trust windows firewall. Bit it doesn't do a thing.
