Alex shrugged. "He might not actually be here, let alone in this town." He pointed out. "Who knows? He could be killing random people in Midgar, or Gongaga Village, or even at my house back on Earth! Who gives a crap?" Alex was becoming frustraited with the obviousness of all three of them. I am being obvious... Alex thought.
"In any case, it wouldn't hurt to look around still." He admitted. The pod room was nearby and Alex had a feeling that he knew this place, like the back of his hand. Then, another vision.
Sephiroth had walked inside this room, and towards the next one where Jenova was held. Cloud was right after him, and after him was Tifa. They both ran into the room almost a minute after Sephiroth had. Then, only a minute later, Alex heard a slash, and the vision ended.
When Alex came back, he was already walking towards the entryway to the next room, holding his head with his hand. Alex had no control over his body, and kept walking.

Was he having another vision or was Sephiroth here and was actually controlling him. Whatever it was, Angeal had to stop it. He had already witnessed one of these visions and it wasn't one of the best things in the world. Alex was almost at the room. He had to stop him before the door was opened. Angeal knew for a fact that there was a pit about ten feet past the door, and Alex was headed straight for it. It was time to save Alex. Taking the Buster Sword off of his back, Angeal ran towards Alex and hit him in the side with the blunt edge. If it worked, Alex would be fully consious and they could continue their hunt for Sephiroth. |

He could feel it rising, but he began to control it. The power soon faded and left him. There were still traces of the power, but not much of it. He began to wake up, finally, but he fell asleep because the energy took up too much out of him.
After an hour, he finally woke up. He didn't know what had happened, so he began to look for Angeal, who wasn't there. "Angeal?" Alex called. "Hello?"

He could feel it rising, but he began to control it. The power soon faded and left him. There were still traces of the power, but not much of it. He began to wake up, finally, but he fell asleep because the energy took up too much out of him. After an hour, he finally woke up. He didn't know what had happened, so he began to look for Angeal, who wasn't there. "Angeal?" Alex called. "Hello?" Angeal said as Alex called for him. You would have fallen off the edge if you had gone through the door. That wouldn't have the prettiest thing in the world.Angeal had saved Alex. That was good because he couldn't afford to lose another friend. Not to Death at least. Anyways, Alex couldn't die. He is the Angel of Light and Dark. No one could kill him, not even Sephiroth. Oh, by the way, Sephiroth isn't here Alex. So that only leaves Shinra Mansion for us to check. And the rest of the world. |

Alex was shocked by how close Angeal was to him. He was caught by surprise as Angeal began to talk. As Alex listened, he understood that the reactor wasn't a good place to look. "Alright, to the Shinra Manor we go!" Alex shouted cheerfully. Alex was tired of being in this place; it was so depressing, and he had had enough of the constant visions of the reactor and its past with Sephiroth and such. He began his way to the exit, and hopefully Angeal followed.

It was dark and empty and there was dust everywhere. It was dead silent. Literally. The big stairs leading up to the second floor were ahead of him. Now that we're here, were are we going to start? |

Alex looked to Angeal as he entered the establishment. It was very dark and depressing, memories of death and hopelessness. "We should start from the middle floor, where we just stepped into, and explore from there throughout all the rooms. Then, after that, we should explore the upstairs and then we'll look in the basement." Alex turned to face Angeal. "We should stick together, in case anything should come and attack us." He waited for Angeal to do something, preferably go in one direction, and so Alex would follow.

Just then, much to everyone's surprise, Cal appeared out of nowhere.
"You might want to look at this," said Cal, holding the head of Sephiroth. Actually, it wasn't Sephiroth's head, but a rather badly made copy of him. Behind him, he dragged two bodies, both which looked a lot like Sephiroth. Cal's psychic senses had picked up on the two baddies, and when he had gone to ask some questions, he was rudely attacked by them. Killing them both, he figured he'd drag the two bodies along with him. But before he had gotten a chance, he was attacked again. So, after killing the clones, and killing any that decided to reanimate, he dragged two of the bodies (at least the ones that weren't obliterated) to the mansion, where he could sense the presence of his two allies.
Cal continued to describe these events to them, sometimes using his psychic powers to show them the vivid imagry, so that they did not deny he was telling the truth, and then he continued to speak.
"Basically, I thought that Sephiroth could only make copies of himself with Jenova's cells. Isn't she destroyed?" Cal paused, then spoke again, "I'm starting to get the feeling that something much worse is going on here. I don't know what, but it's going to piss me off if I have to kill another weak bastard with the balls to attack me with my back turned."

Angeal looked at Cal. He was right. Jenova was supposed to be destroyed. But she was in the reactor. It was strange. It was almost like they had gone back in time or something like that.
Since Jenova was in the reactor, that means she wasn't destroyed. Right? And that also means that Sephiroth has to be here, or was here recently.
Everything was starting to make since to Angeal. Somehow, Sephiroth must have saved Jenova and started making clones oof himself. Either that or someone else was doing it. Bot who?
Angeal decided to get back on topic. Which way were they going to look first. The house was huge and there had to be at least fiffty rooms. Or more. If they wanted to move fast, they would end up missing things.
We'll start on this side. Angeal said pointing down the hallway to his right.
And then work to the left, and finally, up.

Cal greed emphatically. Things were running smoothly, but they'd need to move quickly. If Sephiroth was still here, he'd no doubt have something planned. The man may be insane, but he was also incredibly intelligent.
"Well, I can sense at least fifteen or more life forms inside. I can't say what they are, but I suggest we move fast. Something is very unsettling about this place. Actually, I'm getting the strange feeling we moved back in time. Talk about Deja Vu."
Cal took the liberty of scanning the entryway more clearly, as to avoid any traps or other nasty plots against the three warriors. "Well, lead the way Angeal."

Alex began to say something, but another vision struck him. This time, it wasn't from the past, but the recent past, within a day. Sephiroth was walking to the upstairs section, and didn't stop. It seemed as though the person Alex was being had followed Sephiroth to the upstairs. He went down into the celler. And so Alex awoke.
Alex saw that Cal and Angeal were talking, and Alex had to go on. He began walking upstairs towards where Sephiroth had begun walking towards. He made it to the top of the stairs, and looked back down. "Hey, ladies! You coming?" He proceeded.

Hadn't he just said they were going to look on the bottom floor first and then move up to the second one? Unless, Alex knew something he didn't. Maybe he had had another vision. One that was recent. Good thing Angeal was an Ex-SOLDIER. His mind was meant to think like that. And that's the exact same way Sephirioth would be thinking. Thinking like a SOLDIER again. That was definetly different. He would have to back into that mode, but there wasn't enough time for it. He would just have to go along with what Alex was doing. So, you think he's up there Alex? Well, then we mine as well go right at the source instead of wasting time down here.Angeal ran up the stairs and past Alex. Who's the lady now? |

Cal grinned. He liked his new company. It wasn't everyday that you had the privilege of being called a lady by someone stronger than you. He followed Angeal closely. Clearly, Alex knew something they didn't, and Cal would rather hear what the man had to tell him instead of trying to read his mind. Either way, instead of having to deal with the bastards downstairs, they'd probably bypass the weakling security and run right into Sephiroth.
But Cal knew, even if they'd killed him again, he'd come back eventually. For some reason, in this strange, twisted world, villains never die and heroes always get the short end of the stick...
Anyway, Cal ran up the stairs behind Angeal. "Let's assume you're one step ahead of us. Judging by your reaction, you know something we don't. I'll tell you this much, i only sense four lifeforms upstairs, so happy hunting! Let's catch us a Sephiroth."

Alex smiled and nodded, and ran on ahead. "I had a vision that Sephiroth came up this way and down into the basement. I know he's there, because this was a very recent vision. Only 24 hours have passed since the vision had happened, perhaps even less. So, we aren't that far away from the actual time it had happened. He couldn't have left the building without be having seen it, so we're gonna find him, I'm sure of it!" Alex ran on ahead to the stairwell behind the wall. He pushed the loose brick that opened the wall to the stairs. He began desending.
