After a few training sessions and donned with better equipments, Altiarus once again stepped foot on the ground of the Battle Square. This time he will not fall so easily.

"Dio, show me your monsters."

A sum of 400 Gil has been taken from the challenger's account.
Altiarus enters the arena and faces Mono Drive.

Unfastening his sword from his back, Altiarus prepared to strike at the Mono Drive. His new sword feels a little sluggish, due to the added enhancement, but that shouldn't affect him too much.

Swinging his sword next to his waist, he dashed across the arena and tried to deliver an attack at the monster.

The Mono Drive had just appeared in the arena, but was quick enough to dodge the incoming attack relatively easily.

Then, stopping in its place, the Mono Drive has changed direction and drilled itself towards its enemy, but had barely hit him.

"Hn." Altiarus moved aside as the Mono Drive drilled towards him, leaving only a scratch mark on his arms. Without wasting much time, he charged and brought his sword down at it.

Attack- Mono Drive

Again, the Mono Drive was able to avoid the attack, simply by moving sideways. The blade seemed fierce indeed, but there was no doubt that it was heavy and rather hard to handle.

Now that its opponent was seemingly open for attacks, the Mono Drive tried another drill at him, but missed horribly as well.

"Tsk, missed again..." Altiarus mumbled as he willed himself to move aside the attack, causing the Mono Drive to miss him. Hoping to score a hit soon, he immediately swipe his sword upwards.

This time it didn't have much luck, as the Mono Drive's attempt to dive under the sword failed, and it was hit.

Taking no more than a second to recover, the Mono Drive drilled at its opponent again, faster this time, and has landed a hit upon him.

Taking a step backwards at the force of the attack, Altiarus gritted his teeth and ignored the dull pain as he thrust his sword towards the Mono Drive.

Now the attempt of dodging the attack was successful, as the Mono Drive avoided yet another hit.

Unfortunately for the Mono Drive, its opponent's attempt was successful as well, as the drill missed again, this time by mere inches.

Using the momentum of his sword thrust, Altiarus managed to get out of the way of the attack, even if just barely. Clenching his sword with more power, he charged with a mighty swing.

Not fast enough to dodge the attack, the Mono Drive had been hit badly, and knocked to the other side of the arena.

Using the great range between it and Altiarus, the Mono Drive has gained enough momentum and leverage for the good of its attack, which connected.

Flinching slightly as the Mono Drive succeeded in taking a hit on his arms, Altiarus nevertheless wheeled around and quickly slashed at the monster.

Unprepared for the attack, the Mono Drive has been sent into the opposite side of the arena once again, this time by a much more devastating blow.

Taking a some moments to recover, the Mono Drive tried to drill at its opponent once more, but lacked any speed and missed.
