Damani struggled enough that two guards had to partially drag her into the arena. She growled as they set her a few seats away from Kaida. Kaida glanced over at her friend with relief. "I thought they would never bring you," she whispered, glancing at the guards that stood behind them. "Are you okay?"
Damani looked straight ahead, but nodded slightly to show she was fine. Her eyes were glued to Alex in the arena. Were they going to make him fight something or someone? What about the rest of them?

((OOC: Alright, here goes another one of my trademark long posts! Bare with me in this, cuz this is gonna spike Alex's relationship with Dezzy. ^_^))
Alex saw that Maria was being thrown into the seats, and soon followed Dezzy. "Dammit!" He yelled. Suddenly, a huge mass of fighters came rushing out from three doors on the opposite side of him. Readying himself for battle, he felt the strength of his friends and his sister. But, there was another with him that day. A voice came into his head. "Brother..." It said. Karri! "I'm sorry for what I've done. These people followed me because they knew my evil side, and only that. Please, destroy them before they destroy this world!"
For once, Alex agreed with his evil sister. And then, it came to him. "Damn, I've had two younger sisters..." He laughed. "I'm not gonna let the one join the other!" He charged at the mass, and began to quickly cut them down.
Maria was picked up and forcefully put to the right of Dezzy, who was now in the middle of the three of them. "Oh, please Lord." She began silently. "Please protect him in this battle. I know he's strong, but give him your strength to make sure he stays alive..." She trailed off as her brother began dominating.
Alex slashed them all down with ease, one by one. He was definately enjoying himself with this battle. He smiled as he brought down each and every one of them. Maria smiled when she saw him enjoying himself so much, and not being scratched at all. She was thankful for him being safe, and she laughed with him. "That's right, big brother! Show them who's boss!" She felt such a rush of adrenaline that she just wanted to go down and fight with him.
"Thanks, sis!" He responded. "I'm glad to know you two are okay! Especially you, Dezzy! I gotta say," He slashed and hacked away at his enemies while saying this. "I sure as hell missed you!" He knew this would bring a smile to her face. But, he couldn't look at the moment, because he had to stop all these guys so that he could teach the head guy what for.
He finished the last of the guards, and the head man stepped up. Jumping down into the arena, he brought along some of his guards with him. "Before we begin," The man started. "I would ask you to choose a door. Whichever one you choose, something special will happen..." He grinned before stopping. "Choose wisely, for you only get one choice."
Alex looked around at the doors. He made up his mind. "Two!" he shouted. The man smiled even larger. He nodded to one of the guards, who opened the door. Nothing was behind it. Alex saw nothing, but then the head guy looked up, and shot Dezzy in the stomach! "NO!!!" Both Alex and Maria screamed. Maria ran to Dezzy's side, blood spilling from her stomach. Alex couldn't believe his eyes. He looked to the ground, ashamed of himself.
The man laughed. "You see? You didn't choose wisely! If it were one of the other two, they could've healed themselves, but she can't! Now, she will die because of your actions!"
Alex looked back up, his right-eye orange, his left-eye yellow. Letting out a battle scream, he faced the sky. A figure of a Lion formed behind him, a gigantic Lion. He felt his swords becoming lighter and eventually almost weightless in his grasp. The guards looked on in terror. "What? How is this possible?"
[glow=red,2,300]"This is a non-elemental state!"[/glow] Alex exclaimed, red fires forming around him. [glow=red,2,300]"This is what I like to call my Beast Mode! it's a unification of Darkness, Light, and Natural powers, each canceling eachother out, but leaving only a beastly state! Now, prepare to face the power of a true Lion!"[/glow] Alex rushed ahead with blinding speed at the enemies, so fast that they couldn't see him at all.

((OOC: YAY! Our first encounter with Kai's sisters!!!))
Damani let out a gasp, grasping her wound with her hand. She slumped in the chair, though the pain didn't fully reach her mind. She stared at the blood with wide eyes, remembering a time when a sword had pierced through that exact same place. (Am I to die again? Am I not supposed to live? Oh Alex... Be careful...) she closed her eyes, trying to conserve her energy.
Kaida cried out, placing her hands over the wound and calling on every ounce of energy and every bit of faith she had in her. She felt a hand touching each of her shoulders, causing her to look up. Two beautiful angels looked at her with caring eyes, and she knew only another Angel would be able to see them. They let their power flow through her, and if there was still a block on her powers, it was obviously too weak up against the power of the three Water Angels together. "Don't worry, baby sister," the one said. The other spoke, her voice almost exactly the same as her twins; "She will not die, not while we're here."
The wound closed at a very slow rate, and Kaida knew that Dezzy would be weak for weeks afterwords from losing so much blood. But she would live, at least for the moment. When the wound was healed she felt the presence of her sisters fade and she cried out toward the arena: "Alex! Alex! I healed her!"
She smoothed out the blonds hair, tears filling her eyes as she watched the girl breath a little easier. She looked over at Maria. "Are you okay, little one?" she asked softly, a small smile on her face.

Nodding, Maria smiled. She embraced Dezzy with her tiny arms. Then, she looked over to see something she thought she'd never see before. Alex was blazing with fury. The very sight of it made her eyes widen and she gasped for breath. The only thing she could feel was Fear. "I-I-Is he really that strong?" She couldn't believe her eyes. Then, she smiled again. "THAT'S MY BIG BROTHER! SHOW THEM WHO'S BOSS!!!" She began cheering for him loudly.
Alex's eyes never left the enemy. Slashing them down even easier than the others, he would leap into the air and pounce on them. When only the head guy was left, Alex stared at him with a death glare. [glow=red,2,300]"You brought this upon yourself by attacking the one I love. Now,"[/glow] He turned to face him. [glow=red,2,300]"YOU WILL PAY FOR WHAT YOU'VE DONE!!!"[/glow] Alex charged him, warping right behind him, almost as if he'd been there the entire time. Kicking him up into the air, Alex rushed up after the guy.
Launching his blades far up into the sky, Alex went berserk on the man, using only his fists and feet. Moving so fast that he could outrun a bullet, it seemed as though he had limitless energy. Then, throwning him down to the ground, Alex's swords impaled him. Following down, Alex impaled the blades further in by landing on each of them with his feet. Jumping off, he forced the blades out of the man. He was surely dead now. Alex jumped up to the arena seats, killed the guards nearby, and rushed inside the building. He came back only minutes later, returned to normal.
He threw everyone their weapons back, and went over to Dezzy. "Is everyone okay?" He asked, putting a hand on Dezzy's shoulder. Maria glomped Alex. "OH THANK GOD! YOU'RE OKAY!!!" She rapidly kissed his cheek. "Oh, I'm so glad you're okay! I missed you!" Alex slowly got up into a sitting position, and she sat in his lap. Alex hugged her. She was crying because she was so happy. Alex looked to the other two.
"C'mon you two. There's no problem with a group hug!" He exclaimed, opening his arms out for the other two to join in.

Kaida doubled over laughing. After such a display of power he seemed perfectly back to normal. (The one he loves, eh? Looks like my suspicions were correct... They really are perfect for each other...) she thought a mischeivious glint in her eye. "Sorry, I'm not into hugging... I prefer getting the hell out of here and getting some decent food," she joked with a grin.
Dezzy nodded, sitting up and feeling where the wound had been. There was a slight scar there, though that could be ignored. The light headedness that she was feeling couldn't be so easily dismissed. She leaned forward, putting her head in her hands. She shook her head, accepting her gun and two swords from Kaida. She started to stand up but sat back down when the world started to spin. Kaida sat in the chair beside her. "Are you okay?"
"I think I lost too much blood... everything's spinning..." Dezzy replied holding her head. Kaida nodded and said nothing, looking at Alex and Maria. At least everyone was alive. For now, at least...

Alex suddenly felt a burning feeling inside of himself and all around him. It was mostly in his head. This usually told him that they had to leave immideately. He stood up so abruptly that he almost knocked Maria off his lap. "We need to go... Now!" Alex made Maria take her swords, picked up Dezzy, hoisted her over his shoulder, and began to walk. "Sorry, Dezzy, but I had to pick you up. This way, we'll go much faster. We can't have anyone lagging behind, because now we're wanted for escaping from prison. Trust me, I can tell. First off, we go to a clothing shop, get some cloaks, then we go to clear our names by proving that they were capturing us for no reason."
Maria grabbed his hand. "Alex..." She began, but never finished. She wasn't sure if she should tell him about how Dezzy felt about him. But, then it came to her that he'll figure it out soon enough. She smiled, and held on to his hand.
About half and hour later, Alex finally set Dezzy down. Carefully, he moved backwards to examine the mark. "That mark doesn't look good. The bullet's still in there. Granted it's been very well healed, but we should get the bullet out." Alex knelt down to Dezzy, and put a hand on her stomach. "Sorry if this looks and feels pretty weird, but I've gotta get that round out. You could die from it." He closed his eyes, and began channeling his energy to get the bullet out. Once out, he let it drop onto the ground. He then did the same for his shoulder. "Can you walk?" Alex asked, putting a hand out for her to grab.

Dezzy cringed as he pulled the bullet out. It really did feel weird, but once the bullet was out she felt a lot better. She took his hand with a small blush on her cheeks and stood up. She still felt a little unstable and tired, but she could manage. She stretched and looked over at Kaida. "You left your priestess robe back there, did you?" she asked. Kaida looked naked without the robe Dezzy had seen her in almost every day since she had originally met her.
Kaida gave her a quick nod. "It doesn't matter, I wouldn't be able to wear it anyways. It's too noticeable," she replied with a smile. "It'll be fine. I can always go back to Wutai to get another on if need be!"

Alex smiled. "Good to see you two are fine. Maria is, also. But, I have no idea what's happening to me..." There was a strange feeling lingering in his body and soul. Maybe it had to do with what he said to that guy before Alex had killed him.
Those words rang in his ears. "Did I really mean that?" He asked himself, turning to face the open plains. Then, it hit him. He turned back. "It seems we're not that far from Kalm. Since we're wanted, we should grab some cloaks from a clothing store, then we'll eave Kalm before word speards around. I suggest we move quickly, but still silently."
Maria, at first, had no idea what Alex was talking about. Then, when she thought about it, she understood. Jumping on Alex's back, she hugged him. "Can I ride on your back?" She asked. "It'd be a nice thing to do for your sister! Besides, you haven't seen me in so long!" She held him tighter. Slightly sobbing, she continued. "I missed you SOOOO much!"
It took Alex a minute to finally get her off, but then he knew she was right. "Oh, what the heck?" He put her back on his back. "Just don't strangle me while you're on my back. I need to stay alive to keep you safe!"
Maria let out a scream of enjoyment. "Thanks, big brother! I love you!" She giggled a little bit more, then rested her head on his shoulder. Alex put his arms under her legs, and motioned for the other two to follow them.
Alex turned back, walking backwards. "I told my friend, Alexia, that we're gonna meet her in Midgar. I've scoped out a good place to lay low there for a while. It's in a quiet section of the old city, so we should be fine there. First, let's stop off at a clothing shop to grab some cloaks. Ready?" He turned back, and continued walking.
((OOC: Okay, you can reply now, but afterwards, I'm gonna make the post in Midgar, okay? I'll let Alexia know when we start it. She's already filled in))

Kaida nodded with a grin. She knew Dezzy would be able to live with going to Midgar, she had so many times before without a problem. "Aye, aye, Captain!" she saluted him with a goofy smile. She followed after him. She needed a cloak to keep her warm, anyways. "I need to get some supplies anyways... they took my pack and that had all my potions and healing items. As well as a few other things..."
Dezzy smiled at Maria and Alex. (I wish I could be as carefree and as casual as that... I wish I could be close to him like that too...)
"I need a whole new set of clothes... and I lost my Blood Magic book... now I gotta go track down another one!" she pouted slightly, following at a slower pace. As much as she dread Kalm, she wanted to get clothes that didn't have any bullet holes in them and that were clean. She poked the skin that was exposed through the hole in her shirt. "I feel naked with this big whole in my shirt."

Cal was walking through the town. He heard the explosions, and what sounded like a lot of fighting coming from nearby, but his psychic ability allowed him to sensibly relax. It seemed that Alex was here, along with Damani, but he didn't recognize anyone else's energy. All he'd have to do is hang around town and wait. They'd come back eventually, and he could catch up with his friends.
All the things Cal had to deal with lately, and finally he gets a day of relaxing. He didn't have to charge in and help anyone today, or save any lives. All he needed was some money... but his Airship crew was already taking care of that. The crew was busy selling "exotic wares and clothing" they'd picked up off of the fallen enemies they'd slain, plus quite a few woman's apparel they'd found in an old burnt-out mansion some DeepGround soldiers were hiding in. Alas, that's where the money would be, and almost everyone in Kalm was at their make-shift shop buying something.
"Ahhh... I guess I'll just start walking in their general direction. Who knows? Maybe they'll need some help."
