"Just like Sin.....like Zanarkand..." Tidus saw that Onyveth was relieving some horrible past. "You dont have to say anymore. Something similar happen to my world too." With that Tidus ate his rations feeling the weight of the silence. "You guys got any dreams? Anything you're aiming for the future?" Tidus tried to lifted the sadness. For no matter what happens tomorrow always have a special ring to it. A chance for countless possibility.

Altiarus looked down slightly and sighed as Onyveth recounted the event of Meteorfall, he had his fair share of pain, such as when he thought the end has come and he failed to avenge his friends, or when he realized that his birthplace will no longer exist, never to become as lively as before again.
He gave Tidus a strange look at the mention of this 'Sin', 'Zanarkand' and 'his world'. He had never heard of them, and while this isn't the first time to hear someone saying they're from another world, only Tidus is sane, or at least looked, sounded and acted like a sane man. He pull the lid of his noodles back again and after snapping his pair of wooden chopsticks begun to eat his food. He stayed silent for awhile, and sighed as he again gave Tidus a stare, this time a tired one.
"Dreams are a luxury to something like me. I have no future, and I don't think I'll ever have one, so there's no point of truly aiming for something for me."

It sounded odd, hearing about Meteor Fall when he already knew about it. It sounded almost simple hearing it like that. It brought back memories better left in the grave. Memories of a time when it had seem the world was ending, quite literally.
Cal was so focused on his thoughts that Sin and Zanarkland almost went right over his head. Once he realized what had been said though, he turned a bewildered stare at Tidus.
He grumbled to himself, deciding not to answer, and turned his attention to the energy bar he was halfway through with.

Onyveth listened intently as the others began to speak and steer the conversation once more to another topic. She had never heard of Sin or Zanarkand, but when Tidus mentioned something similar happened in his world, things made a little more sense. The only question that remained was: if he was from another world, how did he get here? And why was he here?
She tried not to think badly of Altiarus, even though he seemed to be a ShinRa SOLDIER sometime in his past. Or so his attire seemed to imply that. Did he mean to say he had no future because the bitter reign of the ShinRa Inc. was over? Because he was now out of the job? She averted her thoughts once more.
[glow=purple,2,300]"So Cal... what about you? What's your story? You got any dreams?"[/glow] she inquired the strawberry-blonde man as she finished the last of her noodles.

Cal paused in his inspection of the bar and put it down to rest on his leg. He turned the question over in his mind, than shrugged.
"Nothing specific, just survive day to day I suppose." Cal gave lightly with a shrug, not really meeting Onyveth's eyes.
He picked the bar back up almost absentmindedly and peeled the wrapper back some more.
"What about you? Anything specific in mind?" Cal asked, tilting his head to the side thoughtfully.

Onyveth glanced at both men with a dubious look, slightly disappointed with their answers. 'Not the aspiring sort, huh?' she thought as she swiped a couple of granola bars from the table. She stuffed one into her rucksack and began to eat the other, as a little treat for herself. The lack of responses given only meant they were waiting for her to reply. Swallowing down a mouthful, she replied with a sheepish grin: [glow=purple,2,300]"Me? I'm practically still a kid! I've got a lotta dreams!"[/glow] Onyveth stifled a yawn that came strangely out of the blue. She could've sworn she was feeling energetic today and just a minute ago she was about to go for a little walk. But now... she felt all droopy-eyed and tired all so suddenly. She looked out the window and could see the sun about to set. The sky was almost visible from where she sat - through the crack of the window and the and the broken upper plate of Midgar, she could see the sun setting. At least she had a vauge hint of what time it was...
[glow=purple,2,300]"Don't suppose you'd let us stay the night, as well?"[/glow] she looked on at Altiarus. They had offered them his company, his home, and his food. Was a place to sleep so much to ask for?

Finishing his instant noodles and its soup, Altiarus crushed the cup and threw it into the bin faraway. He made no comments on the other's dreams and such, seeing that their fate does not mingle with his own. He had thought about Cal's answer, and had concluded after awhile that the man was cleared from the suspicion of being a ShinRa spy, which made him relaxed slightly. He had noticed Onyveth stuffed one of the granola bars into her bag, but didn't do anything to stop her. There were still a lot stored up, so one less wasn't that important.
When the girl had stifled a yawn, Altiarus habitually glanced at the fractured window. The sun was almost totally gone, and air had chilled down a bit. He didn't expect time to pass so quickly, but soon labelled the cause as him not having any companion for extended period of time had bored him and heightened his sense of time. Since he had company here, he had something else to place his focus on.
He looked at Onyveth without any sort of expression, as if denying that request. But after a few moments, he sighed and nodded grimly, grabbing a few cordial packs and began to mix the powders. "Suit yourself, if you don't mind sleeping in the same building with something like me. There's another bed through the other door, so pick one, I don't mind."

Tidus took one last glup and finished his cup noodles. He had been listening to thier conversation all the time but his mind was wandering. After going through so many ordeals. He thought that he would have a they-lived-happily-ever-after ending. But instead he have been brought to another world filled with strife. Sigh. Same questions that have been stuck with me for the day. And i never found the answer. Altiarus have offered the group beds. "Hey nice guy..what's with ur glummy look." Tidus reached towards one of the granola bars. He wasnt tired yet. "Your face doesnt suit your gentleman-ly actions you know."

Pouring the still warm water into his mug, Altiarus chuckled darkly as he helped himself with a pack of plain biscuits. Gentlemanly? A monster like him? What a joke. There can be nothing 'gentlemanly' about him, even if he tried. He is a monster, nothing more than an experiment altered by a mad scientist with the despicable name Hojo. There was no future for him, much less a dream, and even now he struggle to hold onto his last vestige of humanity.
"Gentlemanly? How can I be one when I'm no longer a man?" He muttered numbly, mirthlessly, sarcastically. "Nothing will ever suit my face, and this is easier to pretend than others. I'm content enough with my own emotions."

Cal ignored the others in favor of contemplatively chewing on his granola bar. He listened to the conversation around him, content to not add his two cents in. The others seemed to be doing fine without his input.
His leg gave and throb from him sitting cross legged. He straightened his legs out with a groan.
"I don't think my leg is up to supporting me. So if you don't mind, I would appreciate it if I could sleep here," Cal gave a sheepish grin as he rubbed the back of his neck.
A cold chill worked it's way through him, its icy tendrils raising goose bumps along his skin.

Onyveth gave a soft smile as Altiarus had offered one of the unoccupied beds for her. She bit the insides of her lower lip. She agreed with Tidus... he didn't look so 'gentlemenly' after his kind gesture. It almost made her regret calling him a 'ShinRa' earliar on. She knew that not all who were pro-ShinRa then were entirely bad at heart. She knew that now.
She hung her head low as she picked her belongings and looked at Altiarus dead straight in the eye with a serene look. [glow=purple,2,300]"Thank you."[/glow] she said sincerely, having realized she hadn't really thanked him after all this time.
Without anything else to add or to say, Onyveth walked over to the other room and found a couple of beds, well made but not one of high standards. Nonetheless, a bed was a bed, and it was a whole lot better than the alternative - lying on the hard ground with an old, stuffy sleeping back.
She through her rucksack at the foot side of the bed and closed the door behind her. She stifled another yawn... Onyveth can't remember being this tired for a long time, but then again, a lot of things happened today. Met some new travellers, fought against some wolves, made some new friends... it wasn't everyday that happened. She lay down on the bed, facing the door. If anyone came into the room, Onyveth would've seen the person entering. Slowly but surely, she fell to sleep.
