Okay, whose idea was this!?
Bright lights, fireworks, so many happy couples. A groan came from the lips of the white Heavuanavei as she waited, she was pretty sure she didn't plan this, her date certainly wouldn't plan this! And what the hell was she wearing!?
A long white, layered halter dress with a long slit that made it flow and silver strappy heel shoes. Simple yet beautiful? Not in a million years! The dress had a damn slit in it that exposed her legs, the difference between this and the half skirt she'd always wore is that she was able to wear shorts with it! But no, thanks to someone, the only thing she was allowed to wear is underwear! And to make matters worst, the halter was a little low...
She was never one to blush, but this was making her do so. What would he think seeing her like this? Then again, he might not even show up, that would be bad, but at least he wouldn't see her like this. Sure, she didn't look that bad, it's not like she was in a mini skirt and tight top. Thank Gods, maybe it was the nerves, she probably didn't look that bad.
"Ohh, I hate these things," she groaned, she had been on dates before, but only as a friend, never anything like this, and the fact that the one she was going on this date with didn't seem like the kind to even agree to this. Kyrie was sure she didn't ask him out on this, and he didn't ask her out to this either. What was going on?
She was sure this'd end in disaster...

ooc: Ok, Seph would never ask anyone out on a date, so it wasn't him that made you dress up like that or meet him. Just so you know. XD this will be fun. Some 'annonymouse' (Sounds like something Lucrecia would do, doesn't it? lol) woman got them together. lol. Let's say that this take splace shortly after that party at Shin-ra when they first danced. that way, it's before Sephy goes insane.
bic: He was walking slowly towards the meeting place, dressed no differently than usual. The leather coat and boots hadn't changed. The hair was sleek and reflective, as usual. But as he caught sight of Kyrie, he practically tripped over himself. "Kyrie, What the hell? Why are you wearing that?!" It wasn't that he didn't find it attractive, but her discomfort was quite obvious.
"Ok, I don't know who set this up or why, but there's now way I'm going if you're going to wear somthing that drives you insane." He gently grabbed her arm affectionately and led her to the nearst restroom. "Go change." he said. "It's nice, but if we're going to be forced to do this... Date thing... you may as well be comforatable."
He pondered briefly over what that creepy woman had told him. Some lady came up to him randomly, and told him that a girl named Kyrie was going to meet him. She said they were going on a date, and ignored his irritable retorts. He may be trying hard not to bitch at someone right now, but that didn't mean he was going to let himself get called away from his SOLDIER duties.
Ah well... He supposed that he did deserve a break every once in a while. And going to spend time with Kyrie seemed like a good way to burn time. He had rather enjoyed their dance on the Shin-ra rooftop at that party not too long ago. he didn't know what, but Kyrie was... Alluring... And he stilll didn't fully understand why he was falling for her. Love was a new thing for him. And he often wondered why he had chosen her and not one of those countless fangirls that trailed after him every spare second of his life. Kyrie was... Different... That was really all he could think of right now.
He emerged from his thoughts, waiting for Kyrie to change so that they could get going. He was actually, excited. This might end up being quite fun.

OOC: Never said it was him o.O But I guess I could change my last post 'cause it's says she's a Heavuanavei then. I was thinking more of the lines of it being Faith setting them up xD I spoke to her, she said it's fine.
BIC:
Kyrie felt like she was going to throw up as she saw her date walking towards her, she was starting to have pretty good idea of who could've set this up, she had been given the box containing the... revealing clothes, why did she even put them on!? She sighed and put her hand to her forehead, she was going to have words with her embarrassing elder sister figure.
She chuckled nervously as Sephiroth walked up to her, she could tell he seemed quite shocked, who wouldn't? This was clumsy, innocent little Kyrie dressed in something that did look quite beautiful... but too revealing!! She blinked as Sephiroth gently led her to the restroom, but before she could go in, a pretty but rather eager young woman jumped out at her, speaking cheerfully.
"Don't worry, sir! I'll correct your girlfriend's appearance!" Kyrie's eyes nearly bulged out of their sockets, what the hell!? This was turning into chaos! Could he not see the torture she was being put through!? "Sephi-wargh!" she cried as the woman grabbed her arm and led her to a stall, immediately dragging her into a changing room, Kyrie's clothes immediately were thrown over the changing room, her cries and shrieks weren't hard to hear.
"Watch your hands lady!"
"Hush, hush! Now, I recommend this, the glitter will match your eye colour and the dress is tight fitti-!"
"I'm not wearing something that'll make me look like a fairy!"
"Oh, well, how about-!"
"Or a stripper!"
There was silence for a moment, rummaging around, and then the woman gasped happily. "I got it! How about this! It's cute and pretty, it only shows a little, but I think you'll look adorable!" she chirped, Kyrie could easily be heard groaning.
"I don't go well with dresses," she pouted behind the curtain, oh... she was definitely going to kill her elder sisterly figure. Why did she need to dress to impress? Already she had made an idiot of herself! It was then the woman danced out of the changing room, calling after Kyrie.
"I'm not coming out!" she yelled stubbornly, she hated dresses, the ball, now that was an exception, but to wear them daily, it only made her shudder, they caught too much attention, they looked too girly! Okay, the one she was wearing wasn't so bad, but still...
Maybe she was just being silly. "Alright, fine..." she mumbled, walking out with her arms crossed. At least this one wasn't revealing, it was her favourite colour after all. A V-neck white summer dress, thin straps with silver feather motifs stitched onto the straps, the hem was knee length with three long layers and a silver ribbon tied around the waist line, just a simple strip, no bows or anything and the outline of the hem has a light grey stitching. She still wore the same shoes.
"Ah, well... it's an improvement," she sighed, it'd have to do, she didn't want to spend all day getting changed into ridiculous outfits "okay, can we g--" she blinked as the woman suddenly came over and placed a white bow hairclip in the side of Kyrie's brunette and silver hair, her eyes widened as a dumbfounded expression appeared on her face. Don't push it, lady...
She let out another groan before walking over to Sephiroth, averting her gaze as a light blush appeared in her cheeks. "Okay, I'm changed, can we go now?" she said stubbornly, she felt so embarrassed right now "whatever you wanna do first, I don't mind..."

ooc: Fine by me. But whoever set them up is going to have a rather angry Sephiroth to deal with. And lemme change something. Pretend I never mentioned a wing in my last post. technically, during this time period, he has no wing. He's still that SOLDIER Hero person. And it seems Seph is about to get changed as well. *evil grin* Don't mind me, but I'm bringing in Raze, my other wolfy Turk character for a moment. He'll be gone after this post.
bic:
He had been about to reach out and strangle the lady who ran up. Girlfriend? Hell no. She was just an acquaintance of his, and he felt like spending some of his time off with her... He groaned inwardly. Well, that technically did make her his girlfriend. As Kyrie was dragged away, a grin spread across the smooth lines of his face. "Kidnap much, Lady?" He said to the girl who was taking away Kyrie. With an amused shake of his head, he turned away from the dressing room and leaned up against a wall, waiting.
He was well aware of many people passing him, and they all shot him startled looks. What was Sephiroth, the great SOLDIER Hero, doing at the Gold Saucer? Waiting outside a woman's dressing room at that. He particularly noticed the ladies that passed, and few even began to crowd around him. They were shooting glares at the dressing room, and lust-filled looks at him.
he straightened up, and stared the gathering women down. "Be on your way now, ladies. I am busy on SOLDIER duties, and I have not the time for you." Most of them shot venomous glares at him, but the shuffled off. He smirked as they left. Ah yes... The SOLDIER duties excuse always worked.
"Still as popular as ever, aren't you, Sephiroth?" Laughed a voice from above his head.
Sephiroth started and spun around, staring at the roof of the Dressing room. The voice was familiar, and sure enough; he recognized creature. It was that Turk, Raze; the human-wolf hybrid. They had worked together rather recently on an assignment, and Raze had become nearly as good friend with him as Angeal and Genesis. The Hybrid was dressed in his usual Turk attire, and he had a bag swung across his shoulder. Sephiroth shook his head irritably and muttered, "Yeah, it would appear so. I can't even step outside Shin-ra without being ambushed..."
There was a flash of black fur as the Turk leaped down to join his friend. He shrugged with an indifferent expression on his face. "Hey, it's bound to happen. Especially since you came here with another girl." He smirked. "Well, Seph? Who is she? I think I've seen her before, but never actually talked to her. You have a secret you want to share?" He teased.
"Shut up... You been spying on me again? You Turks can get pretty annoying..." Sephiroth growled, then couldn't help but laughing slightly. Raze had a tendency to lighten a bad mood. "Yeah, her name's Kyrie. I honestly don't know much about her; I met her at that dance for the President. We danced a bit, got along ok."
Raze's eyes darkened with humor. "Oh you mean the ball when Feathras threw me into blue paint?" He snickered. "Ah well. Since you're going on a date, you may as well dress up." He jerked a thumb over his shoulder at the dressing rooms. "Kyrie's getting prettied up, so you should too."
Sephiroth shot a glance at the bag the Hybrid was carrying. "Is that by any chance your solution to the problem?"
Raze nodded and grabbed Sephiroth's arm. Ignoring the Hero's indignant protests, he literally dragged him to the next door dressing room; for guys. Sephiroth groaned. Now he was the one being kidnapped. Raze shoved him into one of the rooms and closed the curtains.
Sephiroth glared at the pile of clothes that were thrown over the curtain into his arms. Well, Raze sure loved the formality traditions... Grudgingly, he pulled on the suit and pants; complete with tie and shiny shoes. He emerged from behind the curtains and shoved the clothes he usually wore into Raze's arms. The Wolf-man smirked and shoved the outfit back into his bag, and held out a small thing to Sephiroth.
The Hero stared at it, and groaned. "You can't be serious..." He mumbled, taking the hair-tie from the furry hands. Raze merely smirked and nodded, proceeding to pull Sephiroth's hair into a pony-tail. All the while, Sephiroth glared into a mirror. "When this is all over, Raze, I'm going to hunt you down..." he growled.
Raze laughed and replied, "I'll be waiting, Seph." Then he was gone, leaving Sephiroth blinking in surprise and all alone in the men's dressing room. At that exact moment, a few guys walked in, and stopped short to stare with open mouths at Sephiroth.
Sephiroth hurried out of the room to escape the awkward stares, soon seeing Kyrie waiting for him. Ignoring all the renewed stares from every single person around the area, he walked up to Kyrie. "Sorry, Kyrie. A friend sort of dragged me off to make me look nice..." He sent a shiftily glance around the gathering spectators, and gently grabbed Kyrie's hands. "Let's get going...." He practically begged as he ran off toward the gondola, trying to bring Kyrie with him.

Kyrie stared dumbfounded at the sight before her, one eye practically bulged more than the other as she stared. "S-Sephiroth...?" she blinked, a light blush appearing her cheeks for a while before suppressing the urge to smirk and giggle, instead she just smiled. The poor had been put through more torture than she had... wait, what was she saying!? She was wearing a freaking dress! Nothing was more worst than that. She giggled slightly as she looked at what he was wearing. "Well, whoever it was, they succeeded, you look very dashing," she chuckled lightly, but then blinked as she felt herself being dragged off "whoa! Someone's in a hurry!" she felt as if her arm was about to be pulled off as he ran off towards the gondola's, she wondered where he was planning on going first. Well, for some reason a part of her felt a little disappointed, he didn't think she looked nice? Really? She was in a damn dress, wasn't that torture enough to at least earn a 'You look nice'?
Ah, well. Today was about having fun, not getting compliments, she remained quiet as she went into one of the carriages and sat down, still wondering where the Hero was planning on taking her first. She sat there nervously, hair falling in her face slightly as she played with the hem of her dress. It felt too quiet, so she attempted some idle chatter.
"It looks really beautiful around here today, bright lights, fireworks, hum... lots of happy couples, too," she smiled softly, looking out the window.
Maybe this wouldn't be so bad...

He sat down in the gondola with a relieved sigh as the door shut behind them. "Holy crap..." He breathed, "I swear... at this rate, I'm going to seriously get mobbed... Even I won't be able to hold out long against big numbers..." He spent a moment gathering his thoughts, hating the feeling of the hair tied up. It was an unfamiliar feeling; but then... So was love, right?
He fixed his gaze on Kyrie for the first time since he had been dragged away by Raze. His breath caught in his throat. "By Gaia... You look nicer than before. How much torment did that lady put you through?" he managed to smile, slowly getting used to his new outfit. The suit felt uncomfortably hot, and his chest was covered up; also an unfamiliar feeling. The tie felt rather tight around his slender neck, even though Raze had made it so that it fit perfectly.
He followed her gaze out of the window, and murmured in agreement to Kyrie's words. It was quite beautiful. Honestly, he had never been to the Gold Saucer before. It was like a whole new world, and he could see it clearly from the window of the moving gondola. "Happy... Couples?" He repeated, with a questioning glance at her. Was she hoping that they would turn out the same way? Well, he wasn't going to lie. He kind of hoped that too. If he actually settled down with a nice girlfriend, perhaps all those irritating fan girls would leave him be. That would make him doubly happy.
A smile had spread across his smooth face again as he leaned back. He was actually having fun already. He hoped Kyrie was too. But what would they do after this ride? He had no clue. A moment of thought, then he asked, "Kyrie, are you hungry? We can go get some food after this if you want. I'll pay." He couldn't help but snort with sudden laughter at this. Him? Pay? The people who ran whatever food place they went to would insist that he eat free, no doubt. "Never mind, forget the payment. We'll go eat, but the people won't want us paying. No doubt they will hope to get my approval or autograph... Or something like that... " His voice was slightly irritated now. Why couldn't society treat him like any other SOLDIER? Sure, he was the most skilled SOLDIER and a famous Hero, but that gave him enough attention. He didn't want more...
His eyes trailed over to Kyrie again. He sort of wanted to hold her hand, but no way would he be the first to attempt it. If they were to stick together, it would be at whatever pace Kyrie set. His attention returned to the window, and he watched as the Chocobo races ran past.

Kyrie proceeded to look out the window, but upon hearing Sephiroth's words, she couldn't help but laugh. "Mobbed?" she then thought, before playfully clenching her fist, mimicking a more serious Sephiroth "looks like we'll have to think of a strategy! What do you recommend General?"
After saying that, she couldn't help but laugh more. Picture that, Sephiroth fighting in the battle field against many fan girls, being tackled, having his hair ripped out and kept... wait, the more she thought about it, the more sorry she felt for Sephiroth, but still remained smiling.
She then scratched her cheek, confused by his next words. What did he mean nicer than before? She let off a soft frown, what was he trying to say about her previous attire? He sure didn't know how to compliment a woman now, did he? Ah, well... at least it was something. She crossed her arms stubbornly and pouted. "You won't believe it! It's bad enough I'm wearing a dress, now I gotta wear this pretty girly little thing in my hair! The ball was an exception, but this!?" Kyrie let off a rather disturbed shudder "after today, it's back to jeans and shirts."
She bit her lip softly as she watched the outside, seeing fireworks going off, people cheering and laughing, a genuine smile appeared on her lips. Happiness, one she loved more on this planet, was other people's smiles and joy, it sent a warm feeling to her heart. Her attention then went back to Sephiroth as he repeated her words. "Y-Yeah, happy couples, see?" she got up and walked over to him, sitting accidentally close to him, she pointed out the window, looking below.
There were couples winning prizes, a man was shooting down cans and won a prize, giving it to his beloved, another couple were sharing ice cream, another were on a romantic ride. The Golden Saucer seemed like a nice place for couples to hang out, but though thinking of that, Kyrie's eyes widened, a light blue appeared on her cheeks. She hoped Sephiroth didn't think she had the intention of dating him, that just wouldn't be right.
Luckily, the subject soon changed as he offered to take her to dinner. She sighed with relief, it didn't stop the blush in her cheeks, but at least it stopped her from thinking of dating. "Sure! Once we get off this thing, we'll--" suddenly, she gasped as she pressed against the window, looking outside at the Chocobo races.
"Chocobos!" she cried happily, seeming like a little kid at Christmas, she loved Chocobos, they were such funny little creatures and quite cute, she'd never seen one up close before. She watched them for a while as the gondola passed them, soon coming to a stop.

His eyes passed along Kyrie, feasting on her beauty. One thing he liked about her was that she seemed so carefree. And he was quite sure she hadn't come on this date because she wanted to look good in public; spending time with the 'Great Hero.' She had come because she actually wanted to spend time with him, at least he hoped. She enjoyed his company for who he was, not how the society viewed him.
With a smile, he reached forward and took hold of the bow thing in her hair. He carefully took it out, his finger kneading the thing painlessly out of her hair. "Well you don't need it. You look simply beautiful without it." He tossed the thing to the far corner of the gondola. "I'm not a huge fan of this suit either. I'm going back to my usual attire after today as well."
He gazed out of the window again, watching as the 'couples' went about their business. They certainly did seem happy. Happier than he would probably ever be. He knew he was different from everyone... Something about him presented power, something he wasn't sure if he wanted. He just wanted to be normal. But reality was against him. He found himself gazing through hazy eyes at the crowds below, lost in his thoughts. But he sharply returned to the present. He wasn't here to give in to thoughts that he had every day. He was here to make sure Kyrie had a good time tonight. It wasn't the best time for him to be dazed by memories.
Kyrie's excited shout had him looking out of the window again. The chocobos ran by at high speed, a black one in the lead. Now, he wasn't all that into chocobo racing, but the Black Chocobo, he recognized. The name had slipped his mind; Teoh, or something like that.
But what really got his attention was how happy Kyrie was when she saw the chocobos. He smiled yet again. Well, he knew a nice gift for Kyrie now. On the proper occasion, he would give her a chocobo.

"Go Chocobo, go!" she giggled, slipping into a rather childish demeanour, there was a cute white chocobo with blue eyes running alongside a black one, neck in neck, but before she could see who won, the gondola stopped, she let out a rather childish groan."No fair, I wanted to see who won!" she frowned before getting up, looking back at the bow Sephiroth had thrown, she secretly picked it back up and walked alongside him, silently slipping it into his hair as they walked out, a soft giggle escaped her. "I bet the white Chocobo won," she smiled teasingly, still walking by his side, she made no attempt to hold his hand, wouldn't it seem a bit much? Besides, she didn't want to be harassed.
Remembering what he said earlier, Kyrie just shook her head, chuckling. "Back to your usual attire? Sephiroth, you really are asking for it," she smiled, rolling her eyes typically "exposing your chest and muscle, you realise that's what the girls drool over," she blinked, did she really just say that? Still, it's not like she was one of those girls.
"I mean, really, you're the most handsome guy in SOLDIER, alongside Genesis, Angeal, and Zack, but I think because you're stronger, you're more loved," Kyrie just sighed after saying this, it really was typical how those girls only seemed to want him for his looks, body and strength, what happiness could those three bring?
"It really is pathetic... looks, body and strength can't bring a person happiness, pretty much only make them feel good, but still, I could care less if you were in 3rd with bad hair and brown eyes, I don't know, looks don't matter much," she frowned, crossing her arms as she walked, looking at the hair clip though made her smile "I'm not exactly gonna swoon over you just 'cause you have a reputation or good looks, yeah, I'll admit, you're really handsome, but still, don't see drool coming outta my mouth."
She spoke proudly, with a lot of courage and guts. She bet most people wouldn't so much as utter a single word she just said, but at least her words were the truth, not a load of lovey dovey bullshit. "Girls these days are insult to myself," she scoffed, loosening up slightly as she looked around. Where was this place he was talking about anyway, she was getting a little hungry, the only thing that embarrassed her was that she loved to eat.

As the gondola stopped, he rose to his feet; once again feeling much to hot in the suit. He was used to feeling fresh air caressing his chest. He shook his head, smiling, at Kyrie's chocobo comment. "I don't think so, Kyrie. The black one is rather famous around here, he never loses." He laughed softly as they passed a massive television mounted high up on a wall. Pointing he said, "Looks like the black one won. The white is 2nd." The television was showing a replay of the last few seconds of the race.
Kyrie thought she was so clever, so sneaky... He was well aware of the bow in his hair, he had been ever since she put it on. He let her enjoy it for a bit, then slowly removed the artifact from his hair. The thing was soon in his pocket. "My usual attire isn't meant to show off. It allows the maximum free movement of my body, it isn't restraining. If I was to fight something right now, you would notice that I would be much less graceful and fast; because this freaking suit restrains my movement." He rolled his eyes discreetly at Kyrie as they passed yet another squealing group of girls.
He listened carefully to Kyrie's next words, and nodded in agreement. "And that is exactly why I came to this date-thing tonight. You are probably the only woman in all of Midgar who thinks like that when I'm standing right next to them. That's what I like about you. You give me needed space, you don't swoon every time I breath. You view me as simply a man of great skill, not the most famous person in Gaia." He smiled. So there it was. He had just admitted he liked her. How would she react to that? he laughed inwardly at the thought.
He then noticed her looking around for food, and his amazing hearing could pick out her stomach growling irritably. "Let's get you some food." They passed multiple restaurants, but all of them seemed a bit to bland for him. He didn't usually go around searching for the best place to eat, but he wanted to make sure Kyrie thoroughly enjoyed her time here with him; and that included a fancy place to eat. They were certainly dressed nicely enough for that... And prices wouldn't matter either...
"Here we are. This looks perfect." He approached a huge building, which had a bright sign above the roof which depicted a chocobo, all dressed up and bearing a plate of drinks on its beak. Sephiroth walked in, an looked around. Yes, he had been told about this place before; by Angeal, actually. It was a very fancy restaurant, dim lighting with neatly set tables. Couples were scattered across the main room, all talking quietly and they were also wearing formal clothes. At one wall, there was nothing but magnificent windows. these windows looked out onto the chocobo race track, providing front row seats to every race that came by.
The waiter at the door stared at him and froze. luckily, it was a guy, not some girl. He immediately spoke into a walkie-talkie sort of thing, then approached Sephiroth and Kyrie. "Welcome, Sephiroth and young lady." he bowed slightly to them both. "Will you be dining with us tonight?"
Sephiroth nodded and said, "Yes we will." He looked around at the crowded place with a slight air of disappointment. He didn't like crowds...
As if the man had read his thoughts, the waiter smiled and said, "I have just contacted the other waiters and waitresses. We are setting up a private room for you now. The window there is right next to the chocobo racing finish line, so you'll receive both great service and an amazing view. And it will be just you two there."
Sephiroth nodded in relief. the man turned and walked away, gesturing at them to follow him. "Come on, Kyrie." He said, and started to follow the guy. He tried to ignore the fact that the entire place had gone strangely quiet, and was staring at him and Kyrie with disbelief.

"Second!?" Kyrie cried in disappointment, looking at the screen "awwwh maaan!" she crossed her arms, sending a stubborn pout in Sephiroth's direction. Odd, why did she feel the white Chocobo somewhat resembled her? Always second to everything, never good enough...
Before she could ponder on the thought and end up getting depressed, she smiled as Sephiroth took the hairclip out, she let out a childish giggle, her inner Wind child getting the best of her. Still, thinking of the black and white Chocobo's still bothered her. "Never loses, huh?" she rolled her eyes, looking away from him "who does that remind me of...?" she muttered that last part under her breath. Typical...
It was then a devious look appeared on her features. Not so free with movement, huh? She'd be sure to use that against him sometime today, but not quite yet. She almost felt her eardrums burst at the squealing of girls, there was only one problem with being around Sephiroth, having squealing fan grls bitching and glaring at her. Whatever, it's not like she was trying to get with him or anything like that, it was like they seemed to think she was like them...
Though looking at him, she felt somewhat sorry for him, probably rarely anyone got to know him for who he really was because of all this foolishness. No matter, she'd be his friend if he wanted her to, then again, that's what he had Genesis and Angeal fo--wait, what? Kyrie blinked as she re-thought about Sephiroth's words. He liked her? Hmh, that seemed nice, obviously in the same way as Angeal and Genesis. either way, it felt nice to be liked by someone of he likes of Sephiroth, quite an honour, really.
"Heheh, I like you, too, Sephiroth," she smiled, sincerely as she folllowed him "once a person gets to know you for who you are, I'm sure they won't just see you as the 'Epically Awesome Great Hero Sephiroth', I don't know where that name came from, but still, if those girls looked passed your looks, then they'd definitely have something true to like!"
Was that a bit too much? She was only being honest, she didn't want it to seem as if she was obsessing, what made her blush slightly was that Sephiroth truly was a nice person, he did have a good and caring side to him, not just a competitive and serious side, that's what she liked about him, though she wasn't sure if it were in romantic terms.
When he mentioned about food, she couldn't help but chuckle nervously. Was it that obvious? She guessed there was no hiding it from him. She followed as he led here to a fancy restaurant, one with a cute Chocobo sign that made her smile, but as they walked in, it seemed to grow eerily quite. Kyrie bit her lower lip at the sights of everyone giving them disbelieving looks, she couldn't help but let insecurity eat away at her. Was it really that impossible to imagine someone like her to be seen around someone like Sephiroth...? It's not like they were any better than her... surely...
She sighed and nodded as Sephiroth called for her, she soon followed him from behind as the waiter led them to their table, well... at least it was away from others, and at least now she could see the Chocobo Races more clearly. Things seemed to be going well so far.

He couldn't help but laugh slightly. "Now don't go comparing me to a chocobo..." He mock whined, before laughing softly again. Laughing was another new thing to him... He didn't laugh much, he actually couldn't remember last time he had laughed; if ever. Being with Kyrie was certainly an altogether new experience to him.
He had noticed her sudden interest as he mentioned less movement freedom. "I guess... I shouldn't have mentioned that..." He said softly, mentally rebuking himself. Well, he would certainly be on the alert now. He was curious about what she was plotting, though.
Her next words made his heart flutter nervously. She liked him too? And not just for his looks at that... "Well, thanks Kyrie. That means a lot, actually."
They passed all the ugly stares that were being sent their way, and he could sense that Kyrie was getting uncomfortable. "Kyrie, don't let them get to you. I believe I've already told you this; at that dance thing for the President. They won't hurt you, I'll make sure of it. If I have to make a public speech declared that I hate all their guts, maybe..." His voice trailed off as he snorted with laughter. "Yeah.. Never mind... That would be a bit too much of an overreaction." He smiled at her. "Just ignore them and stay close to me."
The waiter asked if they wanted drinks, and he hurriedly looked at the menu. There were all sorts of weird drinks he had never heard of before, and he pointed at one randomly. "I'll take one of those. Kyrie, what do you want?"

Kyrie tilt her head as she looked out the window, suddenly seeming more interested in the Chocobos, she had never ridden one before, neither had she petted one. She remembered the stories her father would tell her of his warrior days, he rode a Chocobo, a silvery white one that matched his hair. She chuckled lightly, it was a girl named Sera, a trustworthy steed he would always say. Sadly, one day during his rounds, Sera had been taken by a fiend, a dragon he told her.
Looking at the Chocobos only reminded her of her father, it only saddened her slightly, but she was sure to smile, her father's memory was to make her happy, not sad. He had done so many great things for people, it was a shame that she didn't know her mother, she only knew her name which was now her name.
She didn't want to seem rude, but she wasn't really paying much attention to Sephiroth for now, but upon hearing him ask her what she would like, she jolted, breaking out of her stupor. "Uhm, I'm only seventeen..." she said softly, looking at him then the waiter, she decided to order a rather childish drink "I'll just have a banana smoothie, please..." she was sure to be polite. She guessed the waiter would serve there drinks first before getting to taking their orders, she could wait.
Her attention then turned back to the Chocobo Races, fireworks had gone off and another race started, her legs lightly kicked back and forward, not realising she was kicking Sephiroth slightly. She hoped it wouldn't stay quiet for long.

The waiter went of, and Sephiroth looked at what he had pointed out for his drink. Sweet Tea? Ah well, that was fine. He didn't drink anyway, despite his being of age. He was 25, and it was well known... But he looked like he was only 20. 25 was often considered a mature adult age, but he doubted there were mature adults out there which grew their hair out like he did.
He noticed that Kyrie was trying to stay positive, but her smile was strained. What was wrong with her? He had thought she would enjoy herself here, but it seemed her joy was fading... He reached a hand out and placed it on her shoulder. "Is... Something wrong, Kyrie?" He asked softly. he didn't want her feeling upset, and he didn't know why she was upset either.
"You know you can tell me anything, right? If you need to confide in someone, ever; come to me. I can try to help." He took away his hand and settled for staring out the window. Kyrie's kicking was a little bit irritating, but it wasn't too bad, He could barely feel it on his shins.
The awkward silence was pressing upon his ears, and he thought about how weird this probably was for Kyrie. here she was, supposedly on a date with the Hero. She hadn't been given that sort of attention before he believe; and she seemed to have very little self-esteem and pride in herself. well, he would have to try to change that at some point...

Kyrie jumped as Sephiroth reached out and placed his hand on her shoulder, she blinked as she stared at his hand before carefully shrugging it off, she didn't want to seem rude by doing this though. "It's nothing..." she chuckled lightly, but her eyes showed no positive emotion, she soon sighed "Chocobos... just remind me of my father, Seraph Fallen, once a great warrior and advisor the the landlord of Banora, I understand that the landlord is Genesis' father... heh..."
Her hand unconsciously fell to the angel wing necklace around her neck, she began to idly play with it whilst thinking. "I just miss him, that's all... and I never really knew my mother, all I know is that her name was Kyrie... father never really did like talking about her, apparently she died after I was born... makes me kinda feel like a curse, but I know it wasn't my fault," she tried to smile cheerfully, of course, thinking that she was the cause of her mother's death was not good at all.
Sephiroth's behaviour, however, did surprise her... was this how he really was when no one was around? Or was he just trying to make an impression? Ah, well...
"Don't trouble yourself, Sephiroth, my problems are not yours to take on as your own, they're mine to deal with," she spoke politely yet firmly, she didn't want today to be some kind of therapy session, she wanted to have fun, and she hoped Sephiroth would somehow help that...
