After his little taunt Altiarus brought his sword around for a slash from bellow.

Again, the Grunt had been surprised by its opponent, and since it was not prepared for a low attack this time, it got damaged again and fell on its knees.

In its fall, the Grunt tried to counter slash its enemy, but the attack was unsuccessful.

With a quick bend of his torso Altiarus let the Grunt's desperate slash pass through harmlessly. Then, using the Grunt's slightly decapitated state he brought his sword down diagonally towards the body of the creature.

Roaring with pain as its blood was spilled, the Grunt fell flat backwards from the power of the attack.

The best it could do at its state, was rising to a sitting position, after many tries, than slashing at his enemy's legs again. Successfully this time, but not enough.

While busy laughing at the Grunt's attempt to rise back up, Altiarus missed the claw that was slashing his way, thus was unable to dodge it, causing him to flinch slightly when the strike came through. "Tsk, should have paid attention...never mind, it's just a tickle..."
Seeing that the Grunt was still on the ground, Altiarus twisted his sword downwards for a stab.

Miraculously, the Grunt was able to gather its strength and roll out of the way without harm.

Exhausted, the Grunt fell flat on its back again, it was almost unable to move. Rising its arm it shot blindly a few shots at its target, but none of which connected.

Altiarus didn't even dodge as shots wheezed past him harmlessly. "Seems like it's goodnight for you!" He yelled with a vicious smirk as he lifted his sword and slammed it down towards the Grunt.

This time the Grunt wasn't so lucky. Its strength has ran almost entirely. It couldn't even shout when the sword hit it on its side.

His vision fading and blurred from blood, the Grunt tried to shoot at its opponent blindly again, but it was hopeless.

This time the beams were way of target, and Altiarus didn't even look at those attempts. He knew the Grunt is dying, and knew the end is coming soon. With a quick heave of his weapon, he swung his sword at the Grunt.

With a mighty yell, he slashed his weapon at the lying form of the Grunt.
