Altiarus stepped back a little and checked the small wound on his chest. "Lucky hit, not a huge wound either."
After the quick check he raised his sword again and charged at the Bagnadrana with a sideways slash.

This time it was ready for an attack, and the Bagnadrana leaped high into the air and above its opponent, landing hard behind.

Turning in its place with a roar, the beast rushed towards its enemy with its claw drawn, hut hit nothing but ground.

With a forward jump Altiarus avoided the claw attack. He quickly turned around and muttered a string of curses, then rushed up and slashed diagonally at the Bagnadrana.

The beast has just turned to face its enemy when he slashed at hit, resulting in a bleeding wound on its chest.
-27% HP to Bagnadrana (critical)
Roaring in anger, the beast has opened its mouth and a green mist came out of it, spreading swiftly.

Poison status [-4% HP for 5 rounds] to Altiarus (Nullified)

The moment the mist make contact with Altiarus the ribbon on his arm absorbed it and cleansed the poison. "Phew, luckily I had a ribbon..." he sighed, and looked at the Bagnadrana menacingly. "Good try bastard, but useless." He pulled his sword back, and swing it at the Bagnadrana with full strength.

Still dazzled from the effects of the last attack, the creature's reflexes weren't sharp enough to avoid the attack completely, as the sword hit its leg.
-5% HP to Bagnadrana
Opening its mouth again, this time it revealed a series of razor sharp teeth. In a quick motion it jumped towards its opponent and slammed its mouth shut, but was just a few inches short.

Leaning back reflexively, Altiarus had dodged the fangs by a fraction. "Holy! That was close..." then with a swift twist he aimed the sword upwards the the Bagnadrana's mouth and stabbed it up, hoping to catch it off guard.

While still in the motion of the attack, it couldn't take its head backwards son enough and was stabbed forcefully by the blade.

Roaring with rage, the Bagnadrana raised one of its claw, blood still drifting from the leg, and slashed towards its foe, successfully.

"Ack!" Altiarus stumbled slightly as blood flew from the wounds the claws just made. "Why you!!! You will pay for this!!"
Ignoring the blood that continue to spill from his wounds Altiarus rushed towards the Bagnadrana and attempted to slash at the creature brutally.

Too slow to move away and too weak to jump backwards, the blade has hit the beast in a thundering power.

For the second time, the beast has opened its mouth and let loose of that green mist, trying to poison its opponent.

Once again the poison mist was nullified by the Ribbon, Altiarus looked at the Bagnadrana with an amused expression as he brought his sword up for a strike. "Haven't you learn anything yet? Ah well, can't expect too much from mindless monsters." With a twist of his body, he let gravity take the sword downwards in an arc, then swung it upwards for a slash.

Now raising its head and thrusting it downwards in a swift motion, its teeth glittering, but again missed any connection with the target.

With a step back and leaning sideways Altiarus avoided the sharp teeth of the Bagnadrana. Then as soon as he took another step to correct his stance, he jumped forward and tried a slash at the creature.

The beast barely had time to realize that it missed its target, when suddenly it had to face another attack. It avoided injuring any vital organs, but the blade still hit it on one of its shoulders.
-6% HP to Bagnadrana
Looking towards its opponent, the Bagnadrana took a step forward and moved its head at him, attacking with its horn, but missed again.

Ducking down and pushing himself to slide to a side, Altiarus dodged the horns, and thus a grisly impale wound, by inches. Steadying himself after the slide, he jumped forward again and tried another slash at the Bagnadrana's side.
