Alex landed with Kaida in his arm. It was quite cold here, and snow fell gently and gracefully. He looked around, let go of Kaida's hand, and let his wings retract into his back. "I'm surprised to see that Junon, being so close to the coast, gets winter-like weather." Alex said, as he began to walk around. It was getting fairly dark now, and he began to look for a hotel for him and Kaida to stay. After a few more minutes of standing in the fridged opening, he found one. "Kai, I'm gonna get us rooms. C'mon!"
He walked inside the establishment. The building was a third-rate hotel, but it would do for the night. Alex approached the man at the desk. "Excuse me, but would you happen to have a few spare rooms?"
The man at the desk responded. "No, sorry. Only one, but it's a three-bed room. And, 'cuz you look tired and frozen solid, m'boy, I'll rent out the room for free."
Alex was shocked by the man's generosity. "Thank you, sir!" The man handed him the key to the room. "Thank you very much." Now all Alex had to do was wait for Kaida to come in. He took a seat by the desk, and began a conversation with the man. "So, do many people stay here often?"
"No, not usually. But today it seems that people are coming in from all over! I've seen some people from Edge, Wutai, Midgar, and even the Gongaga Village! They're all here for the same reason: To meet a person 'who's spirit is stronger than their will to live.' I'm almost full of rooms, and the only one left is the one I let to you!"
Alex's heart sank. Are they all here to kill Dezzy? He wondered. "That's a lot of people I take it!" The man nodded his head, and they fell silent. Alex's eyes were fixed on the door, waiting for Kaida to enter.
((OOC: First, Kaida's gonna have to reply, then Angeal, then I'll reply. Whenever you want, Damani, you can join in, just after my whole dream sequece and being in the blizzard then coming back.))

Kaida smiled, sticking her tongue out to catch a snowflake. She loved the snow, though the temple in Wutai rarely saw any because it was so low in the valley of one of the mountains. She could feel that the snow was going to get heavier soon; potentially even turn into a blizzard. She chuckled and followed Alex in.
She was still on a high from the flight from the City of the Ancients. She didn't bother to brush the melting snow off of her robes and hair; after all, she was a Water Angel, and Water Angels were partial to water. She was glad it was a coastal town, though she could sense the water was a bit polluted in the area. She grinned at Alex. "Did you get a room? I'm thinking about going and investigating the city. I haven't been here in quite some time, and I want to see if I can pick up on this supposed 'power'. I'm wondering whether it's really Dezzy or not, I can't seem to feel anything, and I figured I would with her power being so familiar to me," she said, nodding politely to the hotel keeper before turning back to her companion. She looked at him as if she was asking permission to leave before saying, "I'll be back here in about an hour, if that doesn't bother you. If you go out, be careful... There's going to be a blizzard hitting in about an hour and a half. The winds are already picking up."

Alex smiled as Kaida entered, not brushing to snow off of her. She must love the snow. "Yeah, I got us only one room, though." He began, and listened to her plan. "Alright, young lady, but be back before it's pitch black out! 'Cuz, then I'll have to go out and look for ya in the fridged cold!" He still smiled even after she left. "She sure is one in a million."
After that, he got up, thanked the man at the counter again, then went up into the room designated. It was a fairly large room, with a kitchen section, pool table, and one two-person bedroom and a one-person bedroom next to it. He knew that he and Kaida would have to sleep in the same room, because Angeal didn't know of her yet. Besides, two Angels in one room means more Light! ((lol))
The bedrooms were actually quite nice. The beds were made to perfection, the pillows were fluffed, and the room was recently vacuumed. Alex took the opportunity to try out the bed he designated for himself. It was soft and calming, and he was sure that he, Angeal, and Kaida would enjoy their stays. He went back out to the main room, turned on the weather forecast, and relaxed until Kai showed up.

Kaida wandered through the streets, studying the buildings. Not much had changed since her last adventure here, which had lead her and Dezzy into trouble she had rather not gotten into. There were a few people outside, wandering around and doing their shopping, and she felt uncomfortable at them staring at her. They seemed to be critising her clothing. She had rarely taken off her priestess robes or her priestess warrior fighting outfit since she had left home. In her pack she only had one other set of clothes and they were ratty from so much use when she traveled through big cities. She didn't like being stared at, it was her one weakness.
She ducked into a clothing store that had a smiling young lady at the counter. The clothing looked slightly uncomfortable, but it would do she supposed. She looked through racks of jeans and soft sweaters. She knew nothing about sizes except for what Dezzy had taught her long ago. "Can I help you, miss?" the sales lady approached her as she was looking at one particular tan sweater.
"Um, yes. I'm not from around here, and I'm looking for a new outfit, so I don't stick out as much," she said softly, motioning at her robes. "I know absolutely nothing about clothing sizes or styles or anything..."
The girl chuckled and nodded. "Well, I'd said that sweater will look great on you. It's a soft, sort of fuzzy material, mostly made out of cotton. It's warm for such a cold night like this," she took a minute to analyze Kaida. "This might be a little big, but that should be fine in case you wash it... Pair it with a pair of jeans..."
The girl picked out a pair of dark jeans, held them up to Kaida's hips to judge if they would fit properly. She nodded and pushed Kaida into a dressing room. "Try them on to see if they fit!" she exclaimed, Kaida looking at the small dressing stall. She removed her many layers of priestess wardrobe and put the sweater on. The jeans fit perfectly and felt comfortable. She pulled her hair out of the back of the sweater, admiring the view. She had only done something like this once, and she hadn't liked the result to much. This, though, she would have to admit she looked good in. "Do they fit?"
"Perfectly!" Kaida exited the stall to show the girl. The girl nodded with satisfaction, looking at Kaida's other outfit, a large pile in her arms. "Why don't I get you a bag for your old clothes, and you can pay for that up at the counter when I get back?"
Kaida nodded and stood up at the counter, pulling out her satchel of coins. She had earned it doing various small jobs or as awards for saving people's lives. The girl handed her a bag with her clothes, clipped off the tags on the sweater and jeans and rang the price up. Kaida handed over the money with a bright smile. "Thank you for your help," she nodded, turning to leave the store. The girl stopped her with a "Wait!" Kaida turned to see the girl coming up to her with a thick red wool jacket. "This has been sitting on the racks for almost a year, and you look like you could use a jacket in this weather. It's on me, it's not going to sell anyways!" Kaida thanked her again, putting the jacket on with a smile and walking out into the cold, blustery air. The wind had picked up and she had been in there no more than 15 minutes. She looked at the sky. The clouds looked ominous and she knew darkness would come sooner than she would liked. She would leave the rest of her investigating until tomorrow. She headed back down the street. She had only been gone a total of 30 minutes and she could still see the hotel perfectly well. She smiled. Alex would be surprised that she had come back as soon as she had.
She pushed the door to the hotel open, closing it as soon as she was in the main room. The wind was picking up further, turning the light snowflakes into blizzard-like weather. She followed the feeling of Alex's spirit to their room. She peeked around the the kitchen and then noticed Alex watching a TV. "I came back early, the weather's picking up fairly quickly," she announced, looking down at her new outfit.
((OOC: Sorry if it's so long. I wanted to get her a different outfit and I was feeling creative anyways.))

Alex had fallen asleep watching the news, long before Kai came back. He was listening to how the dangerous blizzard was about to arive, and he began to worry for Kaida. He shurgged it away, and fell asleep as it continued. He had a freigtening dream about Kaida being frozen and trapped in the constant snowfall, and died in the onslaught. He awoke, calmly even though his rather freightening dream had taken place.
"Meh..." He said to himself. "She's an Angel. If she's trapped, I'll find her due to her distress signature." He began watching the news of the area. It seems that he slept for a total of 15 minutes. The news caster was talking about the weather. "Is this all the people here live on? Weather?" Just as he spoke, the topic switched to the rumor Alex had heard of the person with a strong spirit.
He listened closely. "The mystery of the Lady of Might is still uncertain in the Junon Area." The newslady spoke. "The myth is that the Lady of Might as a freightening essence to the people of Junon, and she has appeared over the course of three days, on the Upper plate, causeing Havoc to be rained from the sky." Alex's heart sank. Dezzy wasn't that kind of person, so he believed to have followed an empty lead. But, it continued. "The person in question seems to have been an experiment from Dr. Fayth, a scientist in a secret Warehouse in the Mythril Mines area. He's been creating artificial people, like Damani, or Dezzy, Fayth, his daughter."
Alex's eyes grew wide. He jumped up. How did they know about Dezzy? Right when he spoke, again, the broadcast continued. "This Dezzy Fayth is a combination of the actual girl, Dezzy, with the mind and soul of Destiny Fayth, her mother and the Doctor's wife. But, at a recent outburst of demon attacks, the Warehouse wasn't found after the battle took place. Seen here is a scene from the battle between the monsters and a mysterious person, who's strength is increadible." Alex tensed his muscles. It was him, fighting monsters before Dezzy came out! Just then, Kai walked in.
Alex looked back to her with widened eyes. "Watch!" He forcefully dragged her to the couch, and continued watching. The news cast continued.
"The man seen here is, as said, increadible powerful, and yet a danger to us all. If his power is untamed, he has the potential to kill all human life, and maybe even the myth of Sephiroth's return." The cast ended, and went to a break.
He stood up once more. "WHAT THE HELL WAS THAT, AND HOW DID THEY GET THAT FOOTAGE!?!" He screamed. He paced around, and the news came back on. It showed where he was fighting, and then the camera was destroied by one of his blasts from his sword. "I gotta find Dezzy, and make sure she's okay." He sighed. "There's nothing we can do now, it's too late to look around..." He yelled out in rage, punched a pillow, and blew it up on the spot.
After a minute, he finally calmed down. Now he had a chance to look at Kai. "Hey, Kai..." He began. "You look... very nice." He felt he had to compliment her, because of his rant. "I'm sorry you had to see that, but I thought it was very important. I just... I just need some time to think..." He sat down in the kitchen area, grabbed a soda, and drank it, looking down at the floor.
((OOC: There! Now I've made a long one! Sorta...))

Kaida watched the screen in horror. How did anyone get such footage? Who would be stupid enough to get close enough to get footage like that. She leaned back into the couch. Someone was watching people of power. If her mind and her gut were right, they were all in great danger. There was someone out there trying to expose them, make them so much more dangerous than they were. That would mean that heroes would rush after them to attempt and protect the Planet. She brought her knees up to her chest, burying her face in them and clasping her hands together in front of them in prayer. This was a difficulty that they didn't need right now, especially if Dezzy's power was as uncontrolled as what Alex had said. They would be labeled monsters, freaks even, if this continued on this way. Tears blurred the dark blue of her jeans as memories flashed before her eyes.
"I'm not a monster!! They're angel wings!!" a young Kaida screamed at the other children. They kicked her and threw stuff at her, taunting her with cruel names.
Kaida curled up tighter. That was not long before they had sawed her wings off with their sharp knives. It was a constant nightmare still. She wasn't sure if she would be able to handle that again. She sighed, laying her head on the arm of the couch, reaching for the remote to turn the TV off. She couldn't watch it anymore. Everyone who watched that clip would recognize Alex, and that would put them in danger.

Alex took another drink of his soda, finished it, then threw it away. "How?" He kept saying to himself. "How could they have gained this footage? I didn't see any cameras there..." He paced back and forth, trying to figure out how, but nothing came to mind. He felt very tired now, feeling the effect of flying such a long distance with Kai in his arm, which was an extra load, but he didn't mind. He'd been considered a good person in another's eyes, and that was enough for him.
He walked towards the bedroom, and saw Kaida reaching for the remote. She didn't know that it was on the other side, and only reached towards the empty table next to the couch that only had a lamp on it. He picked up the remote, turned off the TV, and looked to her. Her new jeans were were slightly wet.
He walked over, sat next to her, and put a hand on her shoulder. "You okay, Kai?" He asked. "It looks like you cried a little. You wanna talk about it, or just go to bed? Your choice, but I'm always here for you."

Kai sighed, shaking her head. It was the one thing she couldn't talk about yet. She wasn't ready to relive those memories. "Bed," she said, standing up. "We're going to need the rest. We have to be prepared for anything now. With that footage, you may be recognisable to other people, and that puts us in great danger. We go, we find Dezzy, and we get the hell out of here before anything bad happens..."
She looked up at the white ceiling as if it would help them somehow. She turned to him with tired eyes. "People are going to see people like us as a danger. I'm worried about her," she was referring to the very girl they were searching for. "If she still hasn't learned to control her powers and someone attacks her, she could accidentally hurt a lot of people... That's asking for trouble. If she's still the girl I remember, at least in essence, then if she hurts someone it's most likely that she'll never use powers again... Blood Magic is something you don't repress. It can kill a person."

If we don't stop Dezzy before something like that happens, lots of people could die. We need to find her and either train her to use her powers or take her out before something does happen. Oh, yeah, you left the door unlocked. That's how I got in.Angeal knew what could happen. With that much power inside one person, she could turn into another Sephiroth or Genesis. And the world couldn't take another one of those. Angeal looked at the t.v. On it was Alex taking down monsters. There was no way that that was good. Maybe that's why Angeal couldn't get a room in the hotel. He remembered asking why all of the rooms were taken. All the guy at the desk said was that they were all here for the same thing: somebody with power. This was obviously Alex according to the t.v. So, where is Dezzy?

Alex was startled as Angeal came in. "Thanks for joining us, Angeal." He began, looking back and taking his hand off Kai's shoulder. "Kai, sorry but you and I have to share a room. Angeal got first dibs on the one-person bedroom." He shrugged at her. He looked back up at Angeal. "In any case, you're both right. Dezzy could become a threat to the world, as I just have... This station broadcasts to all the cities, towns, villages, etcetera in this world. For all we know, I'm public enemy #1.
"It doesn't matter now. Kai's right, we should get some rest. Oh, by the way, Angeal, this is Kaida Aikuma. Kaida, this is Angeal Hewley. There, we all know each other now, so let's go to sleep." Alex walked over to the bedroom, lay down on his bed next to the door, and fell asleep.

But that's in the past now, so it really doesn't matter.Angeal walked into his room. It was a good size, and didn't have a lot of windows, which meant he could look out on people and see anyone coming close to thier room. He had a perfect vantage point. Setting the Buster Sword next to the bed, Angeal layed down and unpacked his few belongings. It was time he finished his business in this world and died. But he had a few things left to do...

Kaida nodded at Angeal as he introduced herself and then walked into her and Alex's room without another world. Dezzy would never be another Sephiroth. Yes, she was a potential threat, but she was too pure of heart to ever become that crazy and evil...
Kaida laid down on her bed, curled up in fetal position. She sighed softly, staring at the wall sadly. She didn't want to have to kill one of the few friends she had in this world, and she knew that she would die if she ever had to fight Dezzy. The other girl was a Lightning element; not only did their elements oppose each other, but Dezzy's lightning attacks would most likely kill Kaida, even discounting the great amounts of power. Kaida was powerful, but not compared to the other girl. She sighed again, curling up tighter into her own little world and closed her eyes tightly, attempting to shut out the visions of battle and bloodshed that seemed to be appearing more and more as time went by.

"Night is cold, hatred rules. Death awaits, around all corners.
You cannot excape, Alexander. For there is no where and no one who will save you from the Lady of Might!" Alex woke up, freightfully. It was the middle of the night. Only about 12:32 AM, as his bed-side digital clock read. He straightened upright, and placed his hand on his forehead. He looked over to Kaida, who was sound asleep at this time. He then looked out of the window. Snow fell gently as the winds blew it slightly. He stood up, dressed himself, and grabbed his swords. He turned once more to Kai, sighed, then left the room. He began walking through the rented room, into the hallway, then to the stairs down. Progressing down the stairs, he made it to the bottom. The man at the desk wasn't there anymore, and the lights were all out. Alex walked out of the building, as if no one cared. As he left, he found that what he saw in the bedroom was a great understatement to the actual weather. The wind howled and snow flied everywhere. Kaida was right, it was a blizzard. Slowly, he trudged on. All the lights were out in the city. Even the upper plate was desolate. Usually, as he had heard, the upper plate's lights never went out. He looked up, examined the path, and jumped up. It took a few jumps to finally make it to the top. He looked around, and saw no snow. No winds, gusting at almost 45 mph, no blizzard. All was calm on top. Alex couldn't believe his eyes as he looked at the ocean, purely light up by the light from the moon high above. Then he looked down, and suddenly the weather expanded and surrounded him. He looked back, and saw a figure behind him, but he couldn't tell who due to the risen snow. He charged after the figure, yelling, "Dezzy! Is that you!?!" No answer came. Finally, the snow calmed, and he saw his worst nightmares realized. It was Karri! Alex stared in disbelief. "You!" He said. "YOU'RE the Lady of Might, aren't you!?!"She smiled. "Yes, yes I am. And my mission is accomplished. Now YOU seem like the enemy. I rigged the city's television lines to say that snowfall is everywhere, which it is, but only two sentient beings, us, could see the actual world, without my make-shift snow." He chuckled. "Humans are so insignificant. They're stupid, moronic, idiotic, and most of all worthless!""That's because you never had any real friends! You wouldn't know a friend even if there was someone who atually would accept you as a friend!" He charged at her, but only fased through her. He looked at her in shock. "We'll meet in person when we actually meet, if you're stll alive by then." She let out an evil laugh, then disappeared. Alex was still in shock, and looked around hopelessly. The snow picked up, as did the winds, and he fell over uncounsious. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Alex awoke, only to find he fell asleep for about thirty minutes. It actually surprised him to see he had fallen asleep. He was, however, buried in snow that was three feet over him. He used his swords to cut himself out. Once free, he went back to where he saw Karri. Nothing was there. "So, was it my imagination?" He wondered. He turned around to see where the hotel was. "I have to find Dezzy, as quickly as possible." He thought that he should look alone, so he could find her without having to drag people along. He then jumped down from where he was to the ground. Landing without a sound, he began his way back to the hotel. Alex entered the hotel building, with no one there in the foyer. He proceeded back up the stairs, and into the hallway. Once re-entering the room he rented for the three of them, he grabbed a piece of paper, and began to write a note to Kaida and Angeal. It went as follows: Dear Kaida and Angeal, It seems that I've become an enemy to the world now, and to better ensure both of your safeties, I've decided to look for Dezzy on my own. Should you decide to stay here and Dezzy comes, I will still probably be gone. Unfortunately, I cannot find Kaida's Angel senses from far away. Therefore, if anything happens, I won't be there to help in any way. Should I find Dezzy, I will bring her back here with me. It should only take a week for me to find her, if not, only search the world. By that time, if I didn't find her, she's already here, and I'll come back. If I die, I will come back to life within the hour. But, none of you can be revived without an Angel of stupendous level. Kaida, sorry, but you can't use your magic to revive anyone yet. I'm sorry if this seems radical, but I've done this for your own safety. I wish you both the bestm while I go on. Hopefully, see you two in a week or so. Sincerely, Alexander Kamon He placed the letter down on the counter in the kitchen. He was about to just up and leave right there, but he looked back at the note. Am I really just gonna up and leave them right here, like I did Dezzy? He wondered to himself. He stared at the note, thinking of what Dezzy would've done after he left her in the Fort. He sat back down, and just stared at the note, regretfully. ((OOC: Kaida, your turn now. Angeal, you wait until after she replies. Just gotta keep things in gear now, cuz we kinda went a little crazy at the library.))

Kaida blinked sleep from her eyes. She had heard movement earlier, but she had been too deep in sleep to force herself to wake up, as much as she had wanted to. She stretched. She hadn't been sleeping for terribly long, and that little bit of rest after so long of not sleeping made her exhaustion seem all the worse. She rolled over, intent on going back to sleep before she noticed Alex was gone. She shot up in bed before relaxing. (He probably just went to get something to drink...) she sighed and laid on her back, waiting for Alex to return. She grew nervous as the minutes passed, until she heard a door shut in the other room. She stood up, wandering over to grab her priestess robes. She felt extremely cold, even though the room was decently warm. She wrapped the robes around her, not bothering to actually put them on. She pushed the bedroom door open and peeked out, only to see Alex sitting in the kitchen. He looked sad, and there was a piece of paper in front of him.
She walked over to him, laying a hand on his shoulder and glancing at the letter. For her quick scan she could tell what the majority of the letter would say. She sighed. "I wouldn't recommend going. It's more dangerous if we split up now, and not just for you. Dezzy will make her way here, or we will meet her on some road, but it's too risky to just leave each other right now," she told him softly. "But if you feel you must, then leave. I can't gaurantee we'll see each other again though. At this rate all we can do is fight the forces that are against us. I'm not sure I'll be able to survive through all of it again, though..."

Alex took her hand off his shoulder, and stood up. "I must leave." He began. "I've gotta find her myself. But, I'm not leaving Junon just yet. I have to fight and kill the Lady of Might. Then, I'll clear my name. After that, I'll leave." He looked to the door. "I'm not sure, either, if we'll see each other again, but just in case, it was nice knowing you, for whatever short time we had." Alex moved towards the door.
"Don't expect Dezzy to be surprised that I'm not here when she gets here. I'll see you three in a week, if I last that long." With that, he left the room, then the building, and looked up to the upper plate of Junon once more. The snow had stopped, and the winds had died. No more snow was falling, and he knew that it would go back to normal now. He knew he wasn't actually going out to find Dezzy. He needed an excuse to find and kill his sister, once and for all. He jumped to the top, and began searching the world using powerful scanning magic for her. He couldn't find a signature of her power, so he sat down on the upper plate. He waited for the night to end, which he thought it never would.
((OOC: Sorry Angeal, I had to reply. From now on, unless one of you magically find me, I'll be RPing by myself in this post, so you two can converse while I'm gone. And, I just know Dezzy's gonna pop up right next to Alex to fight Karri on the upper plate.))
