((OOC: I’m going to do Kai’s and Dezzy’s post together, because I don’t have enough time to switch accounts and Kai’s post is too short to bother wasting time.)) All right. Now that your ready, lets go.Angeal picked up his bag, which he had packed earlier, and walked out of the room. They would have to get out of the hotel without being seen, or else some more of the so called "assasins" might show up. It would be hard to get out. There was always at least four or five hotel staff at the main desk, and a few civilians standing around minding thier own business. Or that's what they wanted you to think. As he walked down the main stairs into the lobby, there was no one in site. They might be planning a suprise attack. Be careful. Kaida nodded, following him. She let out a sigh. She wasn’t exactly sure where they would go, but she was confident that she would see Dezzy and Alex soon. She followed Angeal down through the front door of the hotel before hearing Alex’s voice talking to someone. She turned, seeing Alex running toward her and Angeal with a blond girl following him. Alex smiled and chuckled. "C'mon, Dezzy!" He yelled over his shoulder, rubbing the back of his head. "And you didn't have to slap me so hard!"Dezzy let out a small squeal as Alex grabbed her and jumped down to the lower level of the city. She had already forgiven him; she was too happy to see him again, though she was tired from the journey to Junon and the battle she had just fought. She followed him with a smile. “Yes I did, it’s extra insurance that you’ll think next time before you just leave without saying anything to me!! Next time you do it, you’ll feel more pain than that!” she called to him, though her voice was teasing and friendly. She had missed his company greatly, even though most of their journey together had been before the computer had been taken out. She had gotten used to him being around. She looked beyond him. She didn’t recognize the black hair man that had just exited the hotel up ahead, but the girl that followed him she could have picked out of a crowd of a thousand people with ease. (Kai-chan? What is she doing here? Is she one of the other people Alex is traveling with?) the thought cheered her a bit; she knew Kai had powers similar to her, though different elements. She began to run at them, wanting to see her old friend and find out if the older girl remembered her.

Alex caught up to Angeal and Kaida. "Hi guys!" He said, somewhat exahusted even though it was just midday. "I've been through one hell of a morning! I coulda sworn it feels like a week since I've slept, but it's not even been half a day since I last saw you two." He looked out to the ocean, and saw something no one else could see. His eyes widened, a huge grin formed on his face, and he ran to the shore. What he could see would transend his life for a while.
A huge gathering of spirits had risin from the deep. They flowed in a rythmic pattern that was so majestic and well-performed that he just had to stare. "Can you guys see this?" He asked, looking back for only a second. His gaze then returned to the sight. "If you, Dezzy and Angeal, can't see it, I'm pretty sure you can, Kai." He couldn't avert his eyes at all at this moment. He cast a spell that made everyone of their little group see the happening just in time for a gigantic explosion of souls that looked amazing.
"Dezzy, I'm gonna go out there, alright?" Without waiting for an answer, he flew out there in the middle of the gatherings. The souls rushed around him, some went through, others stayed away. Then, one particular spirit came up to him, and resembled a face he knew only too well. "Mother?" He asked, putting his hand out, and touching her spiritual hand. His eyes glistened with hope and courage.

((OOC: This'll be my last time posting as both Dezzy and Kai in one post, I promise!!!))
Dezzy followed Alex's gaze. At first she saw nothing, but then she could suddenly see the spirits. She watched Alex rush out to them, a small smile on her face. The wind blew softly toward the water, blowing Dezzy's short hair into her eyes. She brushed a strand of hair away. "A new beginning," she whispered softly.
Kaida stepped up beside her watching the spirits. She only wished she could fly out there and float among the souls like Alex had. She sighed softly, putting her arm around Dezzy's shoulders. "It's good to see you old friend... I wish it was under better circumstances," she told her friend. "I like your new look, though I guess once a blond, always a blond."
Dezzy chuckled, nodding. "Yeah. I like my hair shorter... it came down to my waist before this, and it was just in the way," she told Kaida. She watched Alex. "It's amazing how I get stuck with such extraordinary people, yet I feel so useless and plain..."
Kaida turned the other girl around and shook her a bit by her shoulders. "You are not useless, Damani Destiny Fayth!" she gave the younger girl a stern look. "You have unimaginable power, and your destiny is full of promise. Even your name says so! The name Damani means tomorrow; clearly you are meant to live in the future and not the past. Destiny is self explanatory. You have great things ahead of you! You have amazing strength and magical promise, and if you can't realize it, then you're not worthy of that power!"
Dezzy's eyes widened in shock. She had never heard Kaida speak so boldly. Kaida sighed softly. "I have a present for you, by the way. Alex said you were looking for a sword," she pulled out the broken sword she had been carrying for a while. "It can only be used by a Blood Magic user. It'll be handy and you can fuse it with your magic. It must be reforged, using your magic and a bit of mine."
Dezzy touched the hilt of the sword on her back. "This sword suits me fine, though I suppose it doesn't hurt to have another..." she said, looking at the sword Kaida was holding.
"We can reforge it later, after we get outside the city and we're out of danger. It'll take quite a bit of magic and we'll most likely have to rest for a while afterwords," Kaida said, turning back to the water. "We'll name both of your swords later... Every good Blood Magic user's sword needs a worthy name."

Alex couldn't believe his eyes. How could his mother's spirit be here? He couldn't tell if he was imagining or not, but he believed what he saw. This had to be his mother's spirit. There was no more doubt in his mind about it. A hand from the spirit came out. "You've finally brought your cousin to rest." The spirit spoke. "Thank you. Now, she can be with her family, once and for all. Your deed is done, but you must live on to protect those you cherrish."
Alex looked over to the beach. Angeal, Kaida, Dezzy. They're his friends, and he needed to help and protect them. He turned back to the spirit. He nodded, a smile forming on his face. "You seem tired." Continued the spirit. "Now you may rest. Do not worry about the water, for you," It placed a hand on his mouth. "now have the Rebreathe magic. You can take the oxygen out of the water and breathe underwater. So, sleep."
Alex's eyelids felt very heavy now. The face of his mother disappeared, and the soul went upwards with the others. Alex closed his eyes, took a deep breath, and plummited into the water, beginning to sleep peacefully. It was an amazing sensation to be sleeping in the water. Everywhere he could feel felt like he was floating on a cloud. The smooth current and soft sand acted like a fan and a blanket. He fell deep into sleep.

Dezzy nodded at Kaida's words. It was true that it would be handy to have two good swords in battle, and that both swords would need powerful names as well. Panic filled her heart as the spirits disappeared and Alex fell into the water. "ALEX!!" she shouted, though she could do nothing from where she stood. He was too far out for her to reach by any means, and she could not swim. She looked wildly at Kaida. Pleading with the water angel, she begged; "Help him!"

Kaida watched Alex fall, but she as she cast her senses out she knew he would be fine. "Relax, Dezzy-chan. He'll be fine. He's just asleep. He deserves it more than anyone," she turned to the young girl. "For now we should get out of the city. It's still dangerous for us to be here, and I'd like to kind of give you a start on your training while Alex rests. I'm sure he'll find us: we'll not go too far outside the city. Far enough to be safe, yet not far enough so Alex has to search for us."
She turned to Angeal. "You're more than welcome to join us, you know," she called to him with a kind smile. She knew she could trust him if he was an ally of Alex, but at the same time she wasn't sure. She had had too many bad experiences trying to trust people that she should have been able to trust.

((OOC: I'm just gonna skip ahead to when he wakes up... 18 hours later. XP))
Alex slept very well. The sand around him kept him very warm and in place. But he hadn't noticed how long he slept. He found out that he had slept for a total of 18 hours! He jolted upright, alarmed. He jumped out of the water, and examined the coast. Dezzy, Kaida, and Angeal weren't there. He grew his wings, and flew towards Kaida's Angel senses.
((OOC: Sorry, it's kinda short. I'm at my friend's house right now, so... When I get home, I'll make longer replies like I used to.))

((OOC: Okay, captain! -salutes and ushers Kaida and Dezzy off on their way-. I'll fast forward it as well. And I lied about that one post being the last of me doing both Kaida and Dezzy at once. I'll stop when and if they separate or someone I don't know as well comes into the RP... I'm sure you understand... And if Angeal doesn't... well... I'll just hit him in the head with a chocobo!))
Kaida hissed backing away from Dezzy. They had been training non-stop since they had left the city, resting only to eat. It had been eighteen hours since they had last seen Alex. She was surprised at how much Dezzy knew; she was a brilliant fighter, and was clearly eager to learn more. Unfortunately, lightning never had mixed with water very well, and the girl had a tendency to let off more power than she needed you. "Be careful!!" she told the younger girl. "You're wasting your power every time you use your lightning element. The only time you ever seem to have control over it is when you use Holy Bolt."
The dark-haired woman had been shocked at the girl's experimental mixing of the two elements, yet pleased at the same time. It was more than she would have ever tried. Dezzy simply nodded at her and tried to contain the electricity into a single, smooth ball.
"Lightning is one of the hardest and most unpredictable elements to control. You have to be careful, because it gives off constant energy, just like a light bulb. Think of that ball in your hand as a light bulb; always giving off heat and light. Learn to make that thought completely second-handed. You won't have time in battle to casually say 'Oh, this ball is made out of heat and light, so I better be careful!'. Doing that will get you killed and then this will just be a waste of all our time!"
Dezzy nodded, sort of condensing the energy toward the center of the ball of light. She was sweating with the effort she was putting into controlling it. She was only half-listening to Kaida's lecture. "Then how the hell am I going to think of it at all, when there are normally so many other things going on in battle?" she asked, though not rudely. She was genuinely curious how she was supposed to remember everything all at once.
"Eventually it'll become second nature to you, just like holding either of your swords, or aiming and shooting your pretty new Materia gun. It'll just fall into place, just like everything else," Kaida explained with a smile. She had felt the exact same way when she had been training. "Take a break, Dezzy. We've been doing this non-stop since this after noon after you rested. You're still weak from this morning's battle... It's nightfall already."
Dezzy nodded with a sigh of relief as she released the ball into the ground. She sat down on top of a rock. The snow from the night before had melted, and it was much warmer than yesterday. She looked at her two swords. The mini buster sword was called Cadou, which translated to 'Past, and the long silver magic-fused sword was now known as Viitorul, which meant Future.
She had chosen the names with good reason, and Kaida had agreed.

Alex had grown tired of looking, and he could tell that they were close now. He flipped forewards a few times before landing, and retracting his wings. Only minutes had passed and he wasn't at all tired. His long sleep gave him enough time to stock up on his energy, but he did feel tired because it was eve. He figured he'd continue looking for them in the morning.
Alex quickly found some dead trees in the area, broke off their branches, and set up a campground for himself. Alex put all the sticks he had gathered together, and it wasn't even enough to build a small fire. He frowned, then grew his wings again. He cast both Haste on himself and Slow on the rest of the world. His wings would help him fly faster, Haste made him move far quicker, and Slow would make the night last longer. Warping around his surroundings, he grabbed as many sticks, branches, even dead trees he could find. In a matter of actual minutes (which was about thirty minutes to Alex and how fast he was moving,) he gathered up enough timber to set up five bon fires that would stay alight for the entire night.
Raising the pile together, he lit it using Fire on a small section on the middle, and the rest went up in seconds. He figured that they flames would be big enough for Dezzy and Kaida to see. He set up three big tents, one for each of them, and put names on all of them. Alex went into his tent, which was the smallest of them all and only a moderate tent that could still fit the three of them, and prepared his bed, which was a cot on a metal spring bedset. Placing a pillow on the end of his bed and a blanket over the rest of the cot, he went back outside.
Alex sat down, and took out his guitar. He took a big deep breathe, and began to play The Sight of Spira, from Final Fantasy X. Once he finished playing it, he lay back, and looked to the stars.

OOC: lets just assume Angeal went along with everything that happened so far...
Angeal walked up behind Alex.
So, you finally beat Karri. It's all over. You don't have anything to live for anymore. Unless you think she'll come back again.
Angeal looked around and then continued.
Because if she does come back, I'll be right next to you and will fight to the death. There's really no reason for me to still be alive. I've lived long enough to see a lot of people die and disappear. It's a frightning expiereince that you went through too.
He walked over and sat next to Alex.
I'm leaving again. You're welcome to follow me, but this could be the last time we talk, so, see 'ya around.
Angeal left Alex, wondering if that was the right thing to do. He knew, that one day, the two of them would meet again, and fight some unknown evil that arised to kill everyone. That day, they will fight to their deaths.
OOC: couldn't think of anything so Angeal is out of this rp now

Alex nodded to his friend's leaving. It was fine by him that Angeal had things to do. "Thanks for helping me, Angeal." He said, quietly. He looked around. The night was pitch dark, aside from the fire he had set up. It looked to e more a signal flare to him. He was right. It was! Dark demons like the ones he fought against when he was fighting his sister appeared once more. This time, in far fewer numbers. But now, they had leaders.
The leaders were giant dark men with huge swords on their backs. There was one for each monster, which meant 20 Dark Demons and 20 Dark Leaders. "Great..." Alex said, pulling out his swords. One of the monsters rushed out ahead of the others, and engaged him. They were far faster than they were when Alex had first fought them. He couldn't see it until it came within the light of the fire, then it was barely visable.
But he still managed to block the monster's attack, and then cast a ball of light high into the sky. The light shown high above everything around him. There were many monsters and demons as he could see. It didn't feel like too much, but he felt even more on the way. He just had to cast that ball of magic, so now all these different dark demons began coming to him. Now, Alex was encircled, and he began fighting back at the monsters.

Kaida startled awake out of her reverie. She had been thinking about all the things she had done lately and everything that was going on when she was awakened by a great power nearby. She looked at Dezzy. The girl was sleeping soundly, and she didn't really want to wake the younger girl up. It had been a long day for the blond.
She shook her young friend. "Dezzy, Dezzy, get up," she said in a normal voice. "Something's going on."
The blond girl sat up, rubbing her eyes and yawning. "What do you mean?" she stood up suddenly at the sound of crashing. She pulled out Viitorul and Cadou quickly as monsters came crashing through the sparse trees. Their destination was clearly somewhere, or someone, else, but the two girls would make good meals on the way there.
She charged Viitorul with some of her lightning magic and sliced through one of the monsters. "These are just like the ones Alex and I fought this morning!" she told her friend, who had grabbed her pack and was beginning to run.
"You're not strong enough to fight right now and I don't want to waste my magic if we can flee and live to see another day!" Kaida told Dezzy, motioning for her to follow. Dezzy nodding sheathing Cadou and beginning to run after the older woman.
((Sorry it's short))

((OOC: So, they're not gonna help?))
Alex felt the presence of more monsters form nearby him. He had to go into a power-mad blitz in order to stop these monsters. Yelling out very loudly, he charged his Angelic abilities, and went straight to Angel form. He dare not turn into Angel of Death, for if he didn't kill them all, he would be killed. These monsters and leaders were of pure darkness. So, for now, the highest he could go was Arc Angel.
Beginning to attack them and fend off the onslaught, he began with multiple Angel Arc-Lightning blasts from Balmung and Guardian Angel. This wipped out a good number of them. Now, he was going to try a new Angel ability he had been attempting to create, and this time it would be successful. "By the Powers of Light and Earth, Crackle! Angel Style: Earth Shatter!" He punched the ground hard, sending ripples through the ground within a mile. He had an instant Haste put upon himself, and he guarded the fire and the campgrounds from the quakewaves. There were now only a few left. Some bugged out, the rest were either insane or wounded.
"You've gotta be kidding me!" He hollered. "That's it? You guys weren't even worth my time!" He quickly sliced and diced the rest of the monsters. Once they were all finished, he could feel Kaida and Dezzy running away close by, within a few thousand yards. This could be a good test for them both. Alex thought, turning into his Demon mode, running on all fours. He caught up to them, and stopped them in their tracks by bolting out in front of them. He disquised his Angel feelings so Kai wouldn't be able to tell that it was Alex.

Dezzy skidded to a halt, not recognizing that the demon was Alex. "Great. We're dead!" she readied her sword. She felt a bit light headed from only resting for an hour or two, and she closed her eyes for a moment, drawing up a reserve of power.
Kaida pulled out her sword. "Don't use too much energy. I can only give so much to you before I kill myself as well," she told the girl, trying to figure out where she should hit to do the most damage. She attacked first, knowing it would take Dezzy a minute or two to get her concentration back when she was so apparently tired. This was why she had wanted to run; she knew Dezzy was strong, she just didn't have faith that the girl wouldn't go too far. She didn't see the girl nod, but Dezzy nodded and ran after her, dragging her sword on the ground swinging upward.

The Demon Alex was posing as quickly moved out of the way of Kai's first attack, then swatted away Dezzy's attack. "You've gotta be faster than that, young ones!" He said. "Now, think fast!" He charged to Dezzy, knocked her towards Kaida, and an inevitable crash was imminent. Alex then warped behind Kaida, and pushed her forewards, so the collision would have maximum effect. It had happened, just as Alex had planned.
He looked at the two. They were pitiful to him. Now, he had to give them a rest. Reverting back to normal, he looked down at them. "You two definately need some training. Despite the fact that I've slept for almost a day, you two should also learn to keep on fighting even when you're tired, then rest when you're sure the enemy's run away or dead." He clenched his fist. "I learned that the hard way, by almost being erradicated by my own inner strength." He relaxed his hand, and placed them behind his head, and began walking towards his campground. "It's all fun and games, until someone gets annihalated. C'mon, girls. I've set up a campground not very far from here. You can sleep all you want. I'll keep guard. Dezzy, training starts first thing when you wake up."
