OOC: i hope this doesn't conflict with anything, but i'm going to start it right from the next morning. Angeal slept through the whole thing but he knows whats going on. (he has his ways).
Angeal woke up the next morning. It was a good sleep, but he felt like something was missing. He was right. Alex wasn't here anymore. The god-like aura Alex had wasn't in the hotel, let alone the 30-mile radius around the area.
Walking out into the kitchen, Angeal noticed the letter. He didn't need to read it. He already knew where Alex had gone. It was his destiny to defeat Karri, and Angeal knew that. From the first day Angeal had started to train Alex, he had know that.
Angeal looked around the room. Everything was quiet, except for an annoying noise outside the room. It sounded like ticking... (a bomb ^_^)
There was no way that someone had figured out Alex had been here. They had all been carefull about getting around since they arrived in Junon. It was impossible, unless, someone already knew Alex, and had tipped off some of the people here to take him out.
The noise stopped. Something was wrong. Then, the door blew open, filling the room with smoke. Angeal turned around and ran towards his room, and picked up his sword.
Kai! Wake up, we have to fight!
The first of the "assasins" came through the door as Angeal got ready to take them out. This was almost too easy for him. As they charged at him, he hit them on the back of the heads with the blunt edge of his sword, just so they would be knocked out.
After a few minutes, Angeal had got all of them. Finally, he was done. It had taken long enough. He sat down on the couch, relieved that he was finally done.

Kaida sat outside of the hotel, watching the clear skies. After the major blizzard of last night it was little surprise that the sky seemed like it had lost it's oomph to be dark and wintry. It wasn't exactly warm; the sun was just blazing over the horizon, glaring off of the water like a light beam off of a mirror. She hadn't slept since Alex had left, she couldn't bring herself to close her eyes again. It felt strangely empty in the room without Alex, though she supposed that was to be expected; over the past few days she had gotten used to his presence, and knowing he most likely wasn't coming back just made his absence worse.
She stood, rubbing the soft fabric of her sweater against her arms for warmth and walked back into the hotel. She walked up the stairs sluggishly, her eyes focused on the ground until she reached the room. She looked at the legs lying in the hallway and peeked into the room. There were a few other knocked-out people on the floor and she shook her head, looking at Angeal. “What did I miss?” she walked over the bodies, inspecting them. They were all alive, it seemed, and she gave the guy credit for that. “I leave the room for forty-five minutes and you manage to get yourself in trouble? I hope I don’t have to clean this up.”
(Why do I always manage to end up with people that get in trouble the moment I turn my head?) she fanned out her senses, looking for a specific one. She sighed, knowing she wouldn’t find it. Dezzy wasn’t here yet, and Kaida was starting to wonder whether she would be here or not.

Alex hadn't slept while he sat on the upper plate of Junon. He was merely meditating, eyes closed, legs crossed, hands on his legs. This was his refreshing sleep, which he usually does when he's tired and wants to get good sleep, but doesn't want to miss anything. In his meditative state, he could hear everything around him. He opened his eyes, and heard some fighting. Alex stood, only to hear it very soon after end. Sighing, he took Gurdian Angel out of its sheath on his right side.
Just as Alex had done that, some monsters of darkness came about. He turned around sharply, and braced for battle. Placing Guardian Angel in his right hand, and taking Balmung out of its sheath on his left side, and putting it in his left hand, he readied his battle position. The monsters came in a blaze at him, but he deflected their first wave of attacks. All he really did was block, dodge, parry, and evade, then it was his turn on the offensive. Jumping at one of them, he slashed it in two with Balmung, and it formed two more!
"Dammit." Alex cursed, as the two lunged at him. One got a hold of his leg, the other tasted Guardian Angel's steel. The monster that was hit by Guardian Angel disappeared. Alex sheathed Balmung, and killed the other monster at his leg. As the others attacked, he confronted them by killing them all with one swipe. They all were dead, black shadows on the ground. Then, hundreds, no, thousands appeared. Alex knew he was going to need some help, so he called upon his Angel powers. He transformed into his Angel state, which he knew Kaida would feel, and his wings burst from his back.
7 at a time, the monsters rushed him, only to feel the wrath of the Angel's might. Cutting one after another down was child's play to him. Then, they began rushing at him in greater numbers; 20 at a time. Alex smiled grimly, and began a fury of attacks that killed all twenty in seconds. Now he just wanted to have fun, so he took them down one by one again, and kept increasing his fighting strength a little at a time. He continued fighting.

They blew the door open, so I had to do something. I didn't feel like killing them, so I just hit them on the heads.Angeal stood up. He walked over to the door and looked out of the room. There was no one out there. He turned back around and faced Kai. We need to leave here and try and find another place to stay for awhile. They know we're here, so they'll keep coming at us until they find Alex.He walked back towards the door. There was still no one out there. He swore he had seen a shadow out there. It was strange. OOC: you can pick it up from there.

Kaida nodded. "I figured we'd need to move anyways. I'm thinking it'll be safer to move outside the city for right now. I don't trust the people here," she said, a concerned look on her face. "The sooner we move the better, I just need to grab my stuff really quick."
She walked into the bedroom, folding her preistess clothes and putting them in her pack. The last thing she needed to do was be conspicuous in her clothing. She strapped her katana to her back where she could easily reach it if she needed to and slung her pack over her shoulder, exiting the room without another book. "I'm ready to go whenever you are," she spoke quietly, constantly reaching out with her senses for any danger.

After a few more minutes, Alex finished the monsters. He had hardly broken little more than a sweat. Reverting back to normal, a powerful sensation of Darkness overcame him. The darkness reached his position, and he lashed out with his sword. Another sword blocked it. It was her!
An evil chuckle broke out of her mouth, and she threw the Guardian Angel away from her, and countered his earlier move, slashing his leg. He grunted, and grabbed Balmung. Returning the slash, they engaged in combat. He had to get Guardian Angel back to deal real damage, but he sensed her stronger aura of darkness, which blocked all of Guardian Angel's attacks. He was down to single-bladed fighting. She rushed at him, and the matched in a blade lock, which sent a dark chill to everyone in Junon and even places close by, like Fort Condor and Costa del Sol. Those most effected were in Lower Junon.
They exchanged glances, and released their blade lock. Karri summoned all her might, and turned into her Demonic mode. Alex still had a slight advantage: He wasn't in his first state of Angel anymore, so no matter what, he had something to fall back on. Should the time come and he need to use "it," he will. His new experimental mode, Angel of Death.
She had turned into a shadow-gray, and was now almost untouchable. Then, she summoned thousands more of the monsters that Alex had fought before. Now, he turned Angel, and Guardian Angel came right to him. He sheathed Balmung, and readied his stance once more. At least a hundred at a time, the monsters came at him, which he brought down in mere seconds. The monsters still remained, but more were created instantly right after killing them. Now there were millions, and Alex knew he needed help. He yelled out with rage, calling out in a syncronized chorus of Angellic voices after his voice sounded.
((OOC: Alright, Dezzy! Come on in!))

A ball of lightning flew in a circle around Alex, killing monsters as in did before traveling back to it's source. The blond girl had her hair cut short, a pair of dirty jeans and a black tank top clung to her body with sweat. The lightning ball rested in Damani's hand for about two seconds before she released it again at another monster that came charging at her. This time she let it impact with the creature, causing a small explosion. She charged forward, swinging a smaller version of the buster sword that she had recently bought at Fort Condor on her journey to find her mentor. The sword collided with a different monster, but only cut a few inches into it's flesh before it hit impossibly strong bone. Damani grinned, pressing her hand to its chest and releasing some thunder.
She fought her way over to Alex, landing next to him in a crouching position with the sword's dull side resting on her shoulder after a jumping attack to another monster. "Miss me, love?" she joked cockily, looking up at him with eyes that burned with andrenaline. She had learned much in the days that she had trained with Raistlin and Cal, and she didn't feel bad leaving them without notice; she somehow instinctively knew this was where she was needed. It seemed like a never ending flow of monsters. She disintigrated one with a small ball that looked like white energy with lightning surrounding it with a yell of, "HOLY BOLT!" It was only an experiment of hers, but it was effective as long as she used both elements in a small and equal amount; too much of either just ended in a failing implosion.

Alex shrugged it off. He was glad to see Dezzy, but he wished it were under better circumstanses. Alex nodded to her, and he continued to fight off the monsters, until he reached Karri again. Now, she was completely black, or at least the darkest shade she could be. She was in her Devil mode. So, Alex had to up the anty now, by turning Arc Angel. His wings grew out from his back in the greatest length they could.
They engaged eachother once again, and it was a feirce battle. Karri saw that Dezzy was fighting off the monsters. She had the perfect idea now, and she readied some dark energy. "Let's see if you'd rather kill me, or have your friend killed!!!" She yelled and shot a powerful blast of darkness that could kill anything non-dark in its path.
"DEZZY! NOO!!!" Alex screamed as he rushed over to hit her out of the way. He reached her in miliseconds of time left, but then he was impaled by the darkness, which was only 3 inches away from peircing Dezzy's heart, and instead, impaled Alex's stomach. He grunted in pain as the darkness seeped deep into his body. "Dammit..." His voice trailed off as he stood there.

Dezzy turned, hearing her name being called. She didn't have enough time to react though, and the next thing she knew Alex was in front of her, darkness impaling him before it hit her. "Alex!" she slashed at a monster that tried to attack from behind. (Damn! I don't have time to help him! There are too many monsters!!) she thought to herself, panicking as she fended off other monsters. They had little chance of getting out of this unscathed and just as little chance of getting out alive. (I used too much power with my Holy Bolt… I don’t want to risk using any more magic right now… I can’t be weak.)
She had a limit to how much power she could use, and it took a lot of her control to use her Holy Bolt. Now her power was depleted, and it would take a while to recharge itself. And that wasn’t counting the fact that she was wearing herself out by fighting. It seemed like for every monster she killed, two more took its place. She glanced back at Alex; there was nothing she could do for him without risking getting them both killed.

Alex fell to the ground, and felt so much pain. Dezzy... He thought. I'm sorry... I've failed this world. Closing his eyes, he took a final breath. He now lay dead. His mind was still quite active, even though he were dead. Why aren't I back to life yet? Why am I still dead? His mind fluttered. Could this be the death that I will realize as my final life?Karri let out a laugh of victory, and called her monsters to her, as they joined in her victory cry. They now prepaired to attack and kill Dezzy, and rid the world of the last obsticle in their way of conquering this world, and soon the universe. Or, that's what she thought, anyway. This can't be it. Alex's mind convinced him. This isn't over until I truely die! I will not lay here and wither away like a soulless fool! My soul is the strongest in this world, and my will and meaning to live is stronger! I will not die!Alex's eyes tore open, as did something else. He stood, and the moment he had been waiting for was finally realized. The Darkness and the Light were untiting as one. He grabbed the darkness spear and absorbed it into his left arm. Then, looking at the enemies around him, he absorbed all the darkness from the monsters around him and Dezzy, gaining their strengths. Karri stared in horror as her supposedly dead brother raised from death. He looked at his so-called sister with one black eye, one white eye. He then raised his voice, calling out all of his darkness and his light. They then mixed together, and destroied his wings on his back, and now only a black eye surrounded by white on his right side and a white eye surrounded by black on his left remained of the forces. He drew Balmung from its sheath, and in his left hand turned it into Death Bring. Guardian Angel remained the same in his right hand. He fired a huge beam mixed with Holy and Death magic at the monsters, obliterating them instantly. Karri was flung back because of the impact of the blast. She stared in disbelief. [glow=white,2,300] "Dezzy."[/glow] Alex said in a heavenly, yet death-ridden voice. [glow=white,2,300] "I'm fine, just stay behind me, and I'll finish this. Thank you for your help."[/glow] He readied his battle stance, but hovered in the air. Now the colors had faded, and he returned to his normal looks. However, a Black and White Aura formed around him, and he charged towards Karri. [glow=white,2,300] "Now is the time of your final death."[/glow] She readied as well, but couldn't match his speed. He was too fast for her and the millions of other monsters she had created. It was all a blur for her and how fast he moved, and all her monsters were being decimated as he swung carefully, knocking down a thousand with a single swing. But, she had millions on her side, yet he had the strength of trillions. Finally, he reached her, and slashed firiously at her, slashing the darkness out of her. She fell to her knees, not yet dead. Now, Alex was sure to kill her. He grabbed her by the neck, threw her high into the air, and caught up to her faster than a light turns on. He kicked her further up, met up with her again, and slashed hundreds of times. Then, he hit her far towards the west, yet still in vision of Dezzy, across the water. Alex warped into space, and began his recital. [glow=white,2,300]"Light and Darkness, the time now has come. Join together to rid this world and all others of a great evil that threatens the people of this universe. Angel of Death Special: Rising Sun!"[/glow] A gigantic ball of all the elements had formed over Alex's head, as he reached up with both swords touching the energy, fusing Dark and Light together. He then launched it down to the planet, down on Karri, who was far below. He landed next to the edge of the platform where he just was, back turned, just as the ball hit the great evil he called his family. An explosion of Light and Darkness erupted from the impact, far from them. The explosion covered the horizon with a masterful flow of both Dark and Light spirits being released into space. Now, she was no more, and Alex felt whole once more. He reverted back to normal, now looking to the sea, the vast sea that had just witnessed the greatest explosion it's ever seen. Alex closed his eyes, and felt the Light from the sun as pure now. Feeling tired, he fell back onto the platform. He went into a deep meditation, and calmed himself. ((OOC: Didn't mean to make it too long. ^_^'))

Dezzy couldn't help but feel a little afraid as the monsters started to surround them again. (I can't do it by myself... I'm not strong enough or well-trained enough to do it,) she thought, waiting for them to attack. She had come all this way to find Alex, only to have him die protecting her. (Why am I so damn useless? He probably would have lived had I just stayed where I was and trained like I was supposed to!)
She tried to calm her breathing as well as the rest of her senses, though she knew almost for sure she was going to die. She turned around, away from Alex's body, in order to keep an eye on the monsters behind her. She heard her voice being called, only to turn around and see Alex, alive again. He was different though... Everything was different and he was giving off an aura that almost choked the blond. She did as she was told, staying behind him and watching him do his thing. She felt almost saddened by the only thought that crossed her mind; (He doesn't need my help... I'll never even be half that powerful... I'm completely useless to him...)
She watched him defeat Karri and then fall onto the platform. She ran to him, kneeling beside him to make sure he was okay. She sighed. "I'm sorry you had to protect me..." she murmured, not intending for him to hear.
((OOC: Shorter than I would have liked and more vague than I wanted, but I'm short on muse right now.))

Alex opened his eyes and looked up to his student. Sitting up, he looked at her. He began to stroke her hair comfortingly. "Actually," He started. "You were the only reason I won. You see, if you hadn't been here, Karri wouldn't shot the darkness at you, which I wouldn't have eventually absorbed, which gave me enough power in darkness to go into my final state, Angel of Death. The blast was of pure dark energy, which, as I said, gave me enough dark energy to comense my attacks. So, basically, you saved me. If you hadn't been here, I would've died for sure. Thank you."
He examined her hair a little closer. "I like what you did with your hair, Dezzy." He complimented her. "It looks good on you." He stopped stroking her hair, and just looked out to sea. The magnificance of the sun's light on the water was stunning to Alex. He thought it over for a second, and was sure. He extended his arms towards Dezzy. "Hug?" He asked. "I haven't seen you in a week and a half. I've missed you."

Dezzy's frown wavered, slowly turning into a smile. She threw herself into his arms, hugging him tightly. Then she pulled back and slapped him on the back of the head. "Why the hell did you just leave me?! I panicked, looking all over for you. It took me forever to try and find a sword, and all I got was some skimpy thing that was barely acceptable, then I had to train with some old guy and this other guy that had absolutely no manners, and then I basically ran all the way here, only stopping at Fort Condor, where I found this thing," she spoke with barely any pauses, pointing her thumb at her small buster-sword like sword. She gasped for breath before throwing herself at him again and holding him tightly. "Don't. Ever. Leave. Me. Like. That. Again!"
She closed her eyes for a moment, breathing in deeply.

Now that your ready, lets go.Angeal picked up his bag, which he had packed earlier, and walked out of the room. They would have to get out of the hotel without being seen, or else some more of the so called "assasins" might show up. It would be hard to get out. There was always at least four or five hotel staff at the main desk, and a few civilians standing around minding thier own business. Or that's what they wanted you to think. As he walked down the main stairs into the lobby, there was no one in site. They might be planning a suprise attack. Be careful.

Alex smiled and chuckled. "Somehow I knew that was coming." He embraced her. "I'm so sorry. This feeling I had, I didn't know what to do. It'd been bothering me so much, it's like when you have a really bad itch. You just gotta scratch it." He thought a second, then continued. "Like I said, thanks for being here. Now, I have nothing else to do but start your training."
Just as he mentioned "nothing else," he remembered Kaida and Angeal. "Crap!" Alex yelled, pulling himself away from Dezzy. He looked straight into her eyes. "Before we go, I've gotta tell the other two that I've found you and we're okay." Before Dezzy had an opportunity to say anything, he hitched her over his back, and jumped down a hundred feet to Lower Junon. There he saw Angeal walking out. Alex took Dezzy off his back, and began running to Angeal. "C'mon, Dezzy!" He yelled over his shoulder, rubbing the back of his head. "And you didn't have to slap me so hard!"
